Great people! Great customer service! Lots of surprises! We purchased the Salute! red dessert wine. Had it with steak, shrimp, and ceviche. It was perfect!

Our favorite winery in Door County! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and many great wines to choose from. I love that they use California grapes since I am not a fan of sweet wines. My favorite is their Petit Verdot. We ordered the bruschetta as an app, which was also very good. Russell, the owner, could not have been nicer. We enjoyed chatting with him and sampling a few different wines. If you’re looking for a quality wine tasting with many delicious wines to choose from, this is the place!

Always a great visit and friendly, knowledgeable staff. A must stop for a tasting of great wines with grapes from California.

The service was terrible and wine was fair, considering the competition they have in door county. I would NOT make this winery a priority to stop and check out. The building was quaint and charming, but unfortunately the service ruined the experience. Do not recommend.

The tasting room is always great with helpful staff. The Vino! Vino! service area is also enjoyable. My favorite wine is here- Angelique- as someone who likes a sweeter wine. My husband enjoys anything but a sweet wine and enjoyed a semi-dry red, the Malbec. We snacked on the Bruschetta Trio. It is overpriced, but I was hungry and enjoy bruschetta and had had it before! I was disappointed/surprised to see such a price jump on the Angelique bottled wine!Plus- the tapas bar was packed. The staff did a nice job with such a busy day! The tables/seating are tight. I'd rather sit a little right in order to be seated rather than have to wait longer for a bit more space!

Love the wine here. It’s a nod to California wine, definitely high quality.

Love the monthly wine club. Always seem friendly and willing to answer questions. Food Choices are decent and pair nicely with wine.

Best wine tasting in Door County. Napa Valley quality. Wine tasting room looks like a barn in Tuscany.

My husband and I did a tasting at Stones Throw and it did not disappoint! Sharon helped us navigate our way through the wines and was both professional and fun! Russell even came out for some wine and a chat and we left with some new favorites. This place is not to be missed when you’re in Door County!!

My fiance and I were so excited to come here after a recommendation from a friend that said they have dry wines. The wine and food were good but the atmosphere felt so unbelievably pretentious. We were there mid-day in the middle of the week and there were only 3 other groups there at the time. The owner talked to everyone but us. Maybe because we are young? Maybe because we were out hiking beforehand so we were dressed down? But it definitely felt like we were judged for no reason and not welcome here.

Girlfriend and I took a weekend trip to Door County. Did a little research in finding things to do before heading up there. Found this winery to be the best according to Pinterest. Wow, was it very wrong!! We did there and not sure where to really go. We ask at the front to order wine. But first you must be seated by someone. We get out at a high table but there are a bunch of other lower tables that were empty. It took our server 15 minutes to come to our table to get our order. We were about to leave, since who would wait so low to get someone. First I ask if we could get a lower table, apparently that's out of the question. The girl looked confused why we would want a different table but it was empty and open. Apparently it wasn't available though. I ask what the sweetest wine they have which is what I like. They tell me some brand and it was about $20 a glass. I figured I would try it out. We get our wines, it was absolutely disgusting. It wasn't sweet at all, it tasted dry and bitter, I could barely swallow it down. Plus our glass wasn't even a quarter full, it was about a drizzle. Like basically a sample of wine for $20!! Glad I didn't have a lot because of how gross it was. It took a long time to get our bill but we wanted to get out of there. It was just so disgusting and absolutely will never come back or recommend this winery to our door county friends.

Best wine in Door County. We had great staff attending to us both at the wine tasting and at the wine bar connected. It has the feel of a California wine bar and has prices to match, but we loved it so much we went twice on our weekend trip to the area.

Beautiful winery in Door County! We love sitting outside on their pet friendly patio. Excellent service and incredible tapas menu. Stones Throw is on our “must do” list every time we visit Door County.

If I could give the service zero stars, I would. First off, we walk in and didn't get acknowledged properly. No hospitality. When asked for the party size, 11 people seemed like an inconvenience and a pain. Eyes being rolled from the service staff. Was told that 2 people would have to stand, when there were more chairs available. As some of the party was seated, the server didn't ask for our drink order . We then decided to go to the tasting room because the service was poor in the main area. But the tasting room man was even more unpleasant. The man didn't even tell us why he couldn't serve us. All he said right away "no I can't serve you" and then no one understood him. Very terrible experience and we would have spent so much money there for a bachelorette weekend .

Great, upscale winery in Door County. Delicious wines with a friendly staff. The owner made a point to stop by and thank each of us for coming by. A must stop if you are in the area.
