Good food, good prices

We use to love this place 25 years ago Then we moved and haven't been back. We stopped in the to have a drink and some food. It was busy with a group smoking pot outside. Inside they have a smoking room for the winter with a big garage door between the rooms .The garage door was open so it was one big room. They smoked in there the whole time we were there. I told the bartender they were smoking in there and she said it was OK for them to do that. It's not. A Waitress asked if we wanted a menu and we said yes. She started clearing off tables and forgot to bring us one. We had a beer and got out of there.

Never visited here before and wow, hard to think we'll be back. Ordered the steak sandwich, and it unfortunately was just flat out inedible. You couldn't even bite through it, it was so stringy and tough and the burger was cooked into a hockey puck after requesting medium rare. $2 Nut Brown Ale's were a treat, at least, if you want those for dinner.

Awesome onion rings! I bet the cheese curds are the bomb! Also good burger and chicken wings! Nice bar stools. Roadside looks plain but definitely worth stopping!

Stopped in while out for a ride with some friends. Bartender was friendly & prompt, food was hot & delicious. Wasn't crazy about the bloody mary, seems hard to find a good bloody anymore.

The food was pretty good. I had all you can eat tacos. I'm glad the cook was in charge of making sure plates never went empty as the bartender didn't care if glasses went empty. Thinking back, she didn't appear at all responsive when attempting to talk with her, felt more like we put our orders in At her hoping something stuck.
The locals were awesome, very freindly.
Our bill was a little
higher than other establishments in the area. Still cheaper than places in MN

We have added Jeff's Blacksmith Shop to our list of goto bars.

Ate there tonight for dinner. Had a combo basket and 8 piece broasted chicken picnic basket. Combo basket was decent but chicken was awful, overcooked smelled of dirty oil and seemed like it was dropped in a deep fryer not broasted. Mashed potatoes stunk of chemicals and dirty feet, tasted just as bad. Gravy was watery and not good. Coleslaw looked old, would call it barely edible. Threw the whole broasted chicken meal away. Waste of money. First bartender was decent, 2nd on couldn't keep her focus and took 15 minutes to get another drink. I will not be going back here.
