I recently purchased whole lake trout to bring home to GB Wisconsin..I steaked it and krayovacked..I blacked tonight with garlic ,butter..OMG AMAZING.. if I lived closer would buy it every wk...smoked troud and fresh white awesome as well..thanks for great teasures from Bodins..

We just visited the newly opened brewery, Clipper Brewery, located above Bodin. Awesome atmosphere. Please consider it a bonus side adventure to Bayfield. You will not be disappointed.

We love smoked fish and while in town we had to stop and pick some up. We were in the neighborhood and so we randomly stopped at this location. It was sooooo cute inside, with a nice fish counter and some things to compliment fish. The guy at the counter was friendly (told us the product had been smoked that day), efficient, and helpful.We ordered a pound of the sugar cured whitefish and half a pound of the sugar cured salmon. After getting them home and trying them, we thought both were delicious. We particularly liked the salmon— the sugar cure was complimentary to the fish but not too sweet.Also, the pricing was superb. We paid less than $20 for 1.5 lbs of smoked fish!!We would definitely stop and pick up fish again at Bodin the next time we are in town!!
