I ate at this iconic restaurant and had their fried whitefish livers appetizer and broiled whitefish dinner main course. Homemade mashed potatoes (choice of potatoes) and coleslaw comes with it. Both were delicious! You cannot find breaded and fried whitefish livers anyplace else and they are amazing with a little squeeze of lemon. They also serve pan sautéed whitefish livers with peppers and onions a more common preparation in the Bayfield area. These livers are a local delicacy and a must try! Service was spot on. The food was cooked perfectly. Shout out to Chef Cass!

Two mornings in a row here for an excellent breakfast.

We were forgotten. Food delayed. Tasted terrible. Unmistakable taste of fish on club sandwich and burger. Never going back.

Came to this place while on a trip and had very high hopes. I had ordered a chicken parm but was given the trout salad instead. Normally i wouldve stayed quiet but i am quite allergic so i told my waitress i had ordered the chicken parm. She immediately had told me “No u asked for the trout salad” (which i wouldn’t get cus again i am allergic) she then asked my table what i had ordered and they all said chicken parm. with that response she got very angry and took my plate back. i kept apologizing for the confusion and wasn’t getting any response back the whole time. she didn’t talk to me again the rest of my time i was there not even to ask to refill my cup. Overall food was good and no complaints there. the staffing was just a bit iffy to be honest. maybe she was having a bad day i don’t know?

My omelet was so overcooked it looked like hash browns. Crispy and brown. I would not go here again.

My husband and I stayed at the INN in the Cowboy room. The room was cute with a private toilet but shared showers. The owner was great and communicated well. We were right next to the main door and only heard the door opening and closing on occasion. We really don’t hear any of the other guests. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere and never had to move our car. We ate breakfast at the restaurant. The food was ok. Just typical breakfast. Cool atmosphere and decor. The service from our waitress was great. Some of the other employees were not as friendly looking. We didn’t eat there again, so I can’t say how dinners are. But if you need a place to stay that’s within walking distance, comfortable and affordable, the INN was perfect.

Always a favorite of our family. Took a dozen students here tonight, excellent food. Love this tiny town.

Chaotic. May have been just a bad day, there are plenty of good reviews but we weren't acknowledged for 5 mins or so, then when we were it was passing and we continued to wait. We left and visited Manypenny instead. They were busier but handled it better. It was a good choice.

Greunke’s Friday night fish fry is delicious fresh whitefish from the lake I had the cherry homemade pie and would recommend any of their pies plus hand dipped malts I have been eating at Greunke’s for 50 years and have never experienced a bad meal. The owner Judith will always play a tune for you on her Wurlitzer Greunke’s has a lot of nostalgia a great place to dine and share memories 👍❤️

I usually don't take the time to slam a place after a bad experience but this time the service and food was so substandard that I feel compelled to warn others. The whitefish sandwiches that my wife and I had here where without question the worst that we have experienced anywhere. In addition, the waitress was seemingly unable to properly do her job and the tip we left her reflected that. The 'fine food' neon signage on the building exterior couldn't be further from the truth! Avoid this place by all means!

The owner is so cool and nice! They have a lot of cool music related decor and a really cool jukebox. Their food was really good and filling! Def recommend if you love music.
