The food is fresh and delicious and you can’t beat the location. We tried both the fish and chips and the grilled lake superior whitefish and give both ywonthumbs up We drank some cider made right in BAYFIELD and got to enjoy the Stephen Hull Experience as the sun set. Great place and great fish. You won’t be sorry.

Omg, we were walking around Bayfield and accidentally stopped by. After sitting down and having a beer, we eventually discovered we were talking to both the owners. The friendliest people with many stories about the history and about the fishery. Eating an hour before I still had to try the fish and chips. Best I’ve had!!!!! If you in the bayfield area do yourself a favor and stop!!!

Hoop’s Dockside has the best deep fried fish and chips around. They catch it in the morning and serve it in the afternoon and evening until they run out. Fish and chips are the only thing on the food menu. Serving beer, wine and sodas also.
It’s a real treat on a nice summer day to sit on their dock and enjoy the view. We live just 6 blocks away. Highly recommended!
