Love the environment. The view is very relaxing overlooking the marina. Appeared to be only one waitress for the entire restaurant. A gentleman checked in with us and took our order (maybe the chef?). Couple things in our order was incorrect which was a bummer, but considering they were short staffed - no big deal. Portions were big and food was tasty. With a few tweaks this could be a great visit.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is what our plates looked like at the END of our meal. Absolutely mediocre food and the staff are all rude, unprofessional & disrespectful teens.. We felt so unwelcome. There was a hair in one of our burgers and the chef told us it was a “string of cheese”. At that point we just wanted it off the bill because you could tell they couldn’t be bothered to remake it. We all left about 50% of our food.. Would not recommend going. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

The food is LEGENDARY. The views are LEGENDARY. The service is LEGENDARY. The portions are HUGE and are a great value! I’ve eaten here on many occasions both by myself and with family and friends while on vacation. One of the last times I took a working vacation on 6/27/23 to take my Real Estate Agent’s license test in Ashland. That morning I called down an order of Country Fried Steak with wheat toast, scrambled eggs, and hash browns from my room. After a while I went down to the restaurant at around 9:15 to eat. Unfortunately it wasn’t ready for me when I arrived. My server (Layla B according to the receipt) asked me if I wanted it to go and I said no. I was getting concerned as I had to wait (that’s my only complaint that the service was super slow which was aggravating as I called ahead so my breakfast would be ready for me so I wouldn’t have to wait as I had business to attend to) but when it did finally arrive it was absolutely phenomenal. At only $12 with tax and free coffee that’s a great deal! I was so full I didn’t even need to worry about lunch! Afterwards I passed the test and came back to celebrate and had a glass of champagne and one of their wraps with fries out on the patio and your servers were so nice and congratulatory! Afterwards the next day I enjoyed a good book on my tablet along with some legendary views of Basswood Island and some coffee out on the patio after I checked out. We’ve made some of the best memories up here and it truly is a special legendary place to us that lives up to it’s name!
