My boyfriend and I came to The Pickled Herring for the first time after coming to Bayfield for the third time in the winter. Every cocktail was AMAZING! We had to take a picture of the menu so we could attempt to re create them at home. We had the Steak Naan for an appetizer and that could have been an entree 😍. It was so delicious. Jody is a great bartender, he knows everything about the bar, restaurant and the city. We will be back every visit! Thank you for the wonderful experience, Jody!

We stopped here for dinner on a chilly winter night. Super welcoming staff and excellent service. We had a great chat with the bartender! He makes a really great espresso martini. We ordered sprouts, steak salad, and shrimp tacos. The food was a little over sauced for our preference (heavy balsamic glaze on the sprouts, heavy coleslaw dressing) but otherwise was great! And of course, the view can’t be beat. Really tasty meal, we’d definitely go back next time we visit Bayfield!

1st time here & it didn’t disappoint! We split the beef nachos as an appetizer - they were AMAZING and could have been a meal in itself! I had the Cavatapi Shrimp Alfredo - the shrimp were very large (which I think wasn’t expecting) & deliciously seasoned. My husband had the Ribeye steak. He said it was very good and really enjoyed the seasoned green beans. Thanks for a great experience, we’ll be back when you reopen next season!

Ate at the bar so we could watch a Packer game while we ate. Bartender/server was personable and friendly.
