A lot of reviewers here say the food is excellent, so maybe breakfast is just a weak point and not representative of the restaurant as a whole. I ordered the spinach mushroom and feta omlette and received the soggiest most flavorless pile of wet leaves and egg I've ever eaten. My husband got the denver omlette, and it was certainly better but still had zero spices, not even salt. We had two adult breakfast entrees and two kids breakfast entrees, plus some pie and coffee. We've been to several other diners across the fox valley and this was by far the most expensive for the least amount of food. The pie was phenomenal but not really enough to make up for the poor quality and high price of the meal. The waitress was very friendly but we thought we had been forgotten once or twice because we sat for like 15 to 20 minutes waiting for our pie, and another 20 minutes waiting for the check once we were done. The aesthetic is great and it's a very nice and clean place but we will likely never come back, at least not for breakfast.

Stopped in on our way through town and so happy we did. Food was delicious. The meat lovers omelet was FULL of meat!! Server was super friendly and loved the feel of the place. The Tator Tots were FIRE (that means amazing)!! They were crispy on the outside and yummy on the inside!
The pies looked amazing! Go check it out and ask for Shawna V! She was amazing!!

pie > cake!! I was in town from Texas & it was my birthday. Bought a couple pies to share with the family to celebrate. We were not disappointed!! The pies were AMAZING! Coconut cream was my absolute favorite! I wish we had pie shops like this in Texas!!!

The skillet and omelette were great. We started with a slice of French Silk pie with fresh whipped cream. Yum!
We live an hour from Berlin but are already planning a Saturday morning trip back to the Pie Shop for breakfast.
