The food was amazing. Fast, friendly service. Only "complaint" was they forgot the mayo we asked for while ordering. Will gladly go back as the food and staff were that great! This location is now on our favorites list.

Here we go friends.. I visited this drive thru today with my family. We are headed home back to indiana and decided to stop. My husband has never tried Hardee’s and he wanted to. So we went. So let’s start at the beginning of the order: we pulled up to the talk box. I was looking at the menu trying to help my kiddos decide what to get. We were the only car in the drive thru. One of the older ladies in there had said something but I didn’t hear her as I am in the passenger seat and my husband doesn’t speak English. He didn’t tell me right away either. So when I said hello to the talk box to let whoever was on the other side know we were ready, a voice came yelling back at me. I don’t think I said hello rudely or anything. I’m kind of shy. I immediately apologized and told her I didn’t hear her at first but that we would like to start the order. As I gave her the order I tried to go slow because it was a few different Meals/ items. I didn’t want her to feel annoyed that I was ordering too fast. Well I must of been ordering too slow. I Wallis say what number meal we where wanting and before I could get out the size, drink, and type of fries she was very rude asking for the exact information I was getting ready to tell her. At this point we are still the only car in the drive thru. So we finally got through the $40 order and I thanked her for taking it. We pulled up to the window and I made sure payment was ready. She didn’t say anything just quickly took the payment from my husbands hand. So before she slammed the window shut she said something but I didn’t hear it as I was tending to my kids and getting drinks in cup holders. (Reminder my husband doesn’t speak English.) so we did wait at the window. We didn’t think anything of it as we where still the only car in the drive thru. We weren’t in a rush or anything and we were/ are having a good day so we just waited nicely there. It was like 4ish minutes we waited there and that’s fine! But abruptly that window slammed open. It was another older woman and she shoved that large bag of food into my husbands door window and hands. I really thought he was gunna drop it. But like as she’s shoving the bag she said “great job f***ing pulling up and waiting.” Then she slammed that window shut. We were still the only car in the drive thru. That ending stunned me. We really weren’t upset or anything at first and didn’t mind waiting. I just looked at my husband and wanted to leave. As we pulled off I looked at the parking lot and there were only two cars in the lot. And I seen two tables sat at the front stretch of windows. I don’t know if those two tables had them slammed or what but they were just having a horrible day I guess. As for the food. Our regular fries were hot and crispy! I was happy! But my husbands order of curly fries where cold and hard :( My hot chicken sandwich was fried so hard it was dry and tasted a little burnt. My husband liked his burger so I guess that was good lol My kids didn’t seem to have complaints so that was good.
But I mean, food was okay. Service needs a lot of work. We really tried to show that we were polite. But you can only do so much. It’s okay to have a bad day but you don’t yell and cuss at people. Remember to breathe.

So thrilled to find this Hardee's on our travels since there is none near us along the Illinois/Wisconsin border. The Monster Burger and curly fries were fresh, hot and made my 48 year old son very, very happy!
