I have never written a review for anything, ever! But this place deserves a top review! My husband and I came upon this place by happenstance and we are so glad we did! From the get go we were greeted and treated! Then to top it off, there was a winter storm warning and our little car couldn't make it up the hill, and with in minutes there were two trucks out to help us. I can not say strongly enough how much we appreciated the kindness that was shown to us! We are from Minnesota, but we are feeling the Wisconsin Nice!! ❤️

We enjoyed our time here. Great service, and the view outside of the river was great. The bartender, she was great. The other customers were fun to be with. Limited on food service, pizza is all they have.

I was impressed by this place since the first time I went in. Last week my relatives came to visit and I had to bring them to McSweets to experience the place too. My sister was a bartender and she along with the rest of us were very impressed. My favorite is the Hillsboro on tap. Keanna (spelling?) the bar tender was fantastic. Whomever the owner is has a winner there and I hope she gets a nice raise. Friendly, polite and always attentive yet if she wasn't serving a customer, she was cleaning. I've never seen anyone clean as much as she did, and I have OCD. Definitely a beautiful, very clean, open air and scenic favorite spot to relax and enjoy a beer. Call us "Repeat Customers!".

Great style wish they were open later and of course served later. The dock for your boat coming right off the Black River is awesome after some leisure paddling.Parking: Motorcycle, passenger carrier, trailer and a dock for the boats right off the river.
Great ambiance with floor to ceiling garage doors, lots of light, and the service was great! Very friendly bartender that even gave us directions to a local waterfall!

Just a question: Is this an Irish pub or an "Irish pub"? I've been to real Irish pubs, even in Germany, where you're served Shepard's pie, Mulligan stew, and other fare one would expect at a pub. But from the photo of the menu, all I see is the typical food one gets from any bar. Friends and I recently stopped at a place in PA touting to be an Irish pub. Outside getting a pint of Guinness or Murphy's, it was nothing more, just pizza and burgers.
