great menu and awesome service!

Our baseball team and families were in town for a tournament. The staff was great to work with in making our reservation for 30 and plannning our team meal between games on less than 24 hrs notice. While it was not their preferred time frame for turnaround, they accepted the challenge and did amazing managing all of our needs from drinks, food, refills and bills. Highly recommend for a big or small group or just your self! Thank you and great job!!

Very clean. We dined early (near 5) so was fairly empty. Filled up fast. Looks like a favorite of the locals.
We had prime rib. Very good.
Would eat here again!!

My wife and I were up in Black River Falls with our Side x Side on vacation at the end of August and we usually never hit the same bar/restaurant twice when we go on vacations. This place was the exception to the rule. The bartender was great! I can't remember his name, but bald head and hilarious! The food was great! We will absolutely be returning sometime in the future.

Great food. Great friendly service. Very clean with great atmosphere.

I was in the area on business. I wasn't expecting to be seated by a hostess with "bar and grill" in the title. I had the Ribeye with broiled shrimp, steamed broccoli and sautéed mushrooms. The food was really good and the service was great. Clean place and certainly recommend.

Came in on a Saturday night. Have been waiting the last 45+ minutes for our dinner and every one around us has been eating or has already paid and left. Bs

The high ratings for this restaurant must be heavily influenced by family and friends posting positive reviews. As someone in the service industry, I was very disappointed by my visit. While the restaurant's cleanliness and appearance were impressive, the experience quickly deteriorated. The menu was misleading, with discrepancies like the "Two chicken breasts" not matching what was served. Although the shrimp on top of the rotini was good, the ones in the sauce were chewy, and the fish, steak, and mashed potatoes lacked flavor. Service was subpar; our waitress forgot to order my husband’s meal and didn’t notice our water glasses were empty. The host was okay, but I disliked having to repeatedly flag her down. Additionally, the food took longer to arrive than expected, despite the restaurant not being busy.

This restaurant has such potential, however subpar service and food killed our experience tonight. Though the menu stated 2 chicken breast, only one was served. When the manager was informed, she said it was an old menu, even though it was the one on her website. Another member of my party's order was completely forgotten, and another's steak was completely grisly. For the prices they charge, a 30 minute wait shouldn't follow ordering before food is served, and I won't even get started on trying to get refills. Also, the fish fry was two fish sticks and fries. Would not recommend unless you enjoy paying high prices for not very good food and small portions.

During our vacation, we researched local restaurants and decided to visit this one. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.

Our party of six placed our orders, but due to a mix-up, one meal was mistakenly placed on a separate ticket and wasn't prepared until after everyone else's food had already arrived. When the meals did arrive, the quality was subpar. The burger was overcooked and as tough as a hockey puck, the steak was chewy and unpleasant, and the bourbon chicken, which was advertised as two pieces on both the menu and website, came as a single small chicken breast.

When we addressed these issues with the manager, she dismissed our concerns, citing an outdated menu as the reason for the discrepancy, and was both rude and condescending in her response. No effort was made to compensate for the poor experience. Additionally, our waitress was inattentive, requiring us to flag down another server just to get refills.

Overall, the service and food left much to be desired, and I would not recommend this restaurant based on our visit.

Stopped for lunch on our way up north for vacation. Jason provided excellent service. Fun, friendly and social! The food and bloody Mary’s were great. We had burgers and wings. Everyone was happy. Jason made my husbands elderly parents smile many times. The place was super clean too, including the bathrooms. We will be back next year on our way through Black River Falls!

Parking: We had a boat and there was plenty of space for us to park.

Prime Rib night:

We ordered appetizers: spinach sip and jalapeño poppers -- each one delicious! It was delicious enough so, that I considered eating only appetizers.

Ordered 22 ounces prime rib, medium, with dinner salad with raspberry vinaigrette and a baked potato. It was served cooked to order, tender and was delicious, too!

Easy to find, plenty of parking, great atmosphere with attentive, diligent service.
