I used to love coming to this course, but it is not nearly worth the hour-long drive anymore. Every single white tee box and green is beat to hell, I’m not sure anyone who’s played the course in the past week has ever fixed their divot or ball mark. The fairways and roughs were in great shape though. The hole 16 green was roped off and we were not told before our round.

Let me tell you why I am giving this golf course ONE star. The fact of the matter is someone there took my stepdads range finder. My stepdad accidentally left his nice range finder in the golf cart he was using and on his way home (lives an hour and a half away) he called immediately to let the manager know. The manager said he had it and it was on his desk the exact one that was described to him. Instead of mailing the correct Bushnell range finder, they mailed us a far less expensive incorrect range finder and claimed that that was the one that they had. I sent an email to them 2 weeks ago explaining the situation, AGAIN, and asked them to let us know where my stepdads range finder is. No response. Poor management.

It was awesome, great bartenders, Harley and Nick. Love this place .

I’ve golfed at many public courses for over 15yrs, and have never been to a course where you are timed for golfing. Came from out of town with a group, and we were looking forward to golfing. Members accused us of leaving trash and tearing up the greens...we did none of those. We’ve all golfed long enough to know not to do that! We did see broken tees left behind and MANY cigarette butts, none of which belonged to our group. As far as our slow paced golfing, we were told by management that there was a group of 20 in front of us. We saw 2 groups of 5 on the course in front of us. There were 2 couples behind us, who we let go around us. If management had an issue, they should have come out onto the course themselves. Instead they sent 2 young women, separately, to inform us. When we arrived back at the clubhouse, the manager was waiting because they needed our carts. We explained we had 2 tee times reserved for our group of 5, but that didn’t seem to matter to him. And he seemed to forget that HE told us that there was a group of 20 before us. Would NOT recommend this course if you are from out of town and are looking for a nice course to go to.

As a member of a very reputable golf course, I do not, absolutely do not recommend spending your money to golf at this course. This business is a complete waste of your money. My mother is handicap, we came as a family from out of town, and wanted a nice place to golf to make some special memories while we were away together. They tried to say that we left items on the greens and that we didn't golf fast enough. We were very respectful, we all golf, we never did anything wrong and wouldn't have even dreamed of that. We golfed at our own pace, enjoyed the beautiful day, while making memories, and that was a huge problem for them. They watched us at we finished hole 9 and then criticized us as soon as we returned to return our carts. We didn't golf fast enough for them, they needed the carts. There is a 2 hour limit per group. We golfed 9 holes in 2:40. And we selected two tee times back to back to cover ourselves. I have never been so disrespected at a public club in my entire life. We will never ever recommend this place to anyone that comes this way for a weekend getaway. Find a better course. This one is garbage.

Terrible staff!! Avid golfer here that has been to many other golf courses in other states and know how it works!! Choose another golf place if you’re not from town! We booked 2 tee times, just making memories with our handicap mom, had 3 carts which the guys knew we had 6 people heading out together when we paid, they were fine with it. Once we finished 9 holes the staff were very angry and very RUDE that we took 2hrs and 40 minutes for 9 holes because they NEEDED golf carts!! We had two tee times and paid like every other person! Seen a group of 8 and a group of 6 we saw also playing together but we apparently in the wrong and took too long golfing! They had a wedding and NO golfers waiting for carts when we returned our carts but the staff were SO rude! We kept pace with everyone in front of us and NO one was behind us! Worst golf course I’ve ever been too! DO NOT recommend them!! Go ELSEWHERE!!

Very beautiful landscape - 3/5 stars because the times my wife and I have golfed at this course they obviously overbooked tee times (waiting 10-15 mins every tee box). Another star taken away because the greens were terrible, I'm not talking about a couple small scuffs, I'm talking 3-7 foot wide bald sand spots on multiple greens. Definitely still would play there and recommend it, but be forewarned, they overbook tee times, and the greens are horrendous. Once those things are addressed/fixed, it will be a magnificent golf course.

Played the front 9 and enjoyed playing in the hills. We had wings from the restaurant and they were OUTSTANDING!!! Our waitress Sue was great and we enjoyed her company.

The price it too high for the rotted patches of grass on the putting surface of many greens, $25 a person for a cart without GPS is too much, that being said, the layout is exceptional and the back 9 through the forest is challenging, the fairway grass on 18 is the nicest grass I've ever felt, you could lay down and take a nap or roll around like a hippie. The beverage cart girl on Saturday 6/15 with her spaghetti strap top got you 5 stars on what could have been as low as 2, give her a raise.

Excellent course design

Great place to stop for a round. Decent pro shop and bar area. Awesome staff. Round prices were decent for this quality of a course. Fairways and rough were in shape. Most greens were cut well for this early season; just a few had some damage spots for this early season. Tee boxes in good shape. The layout of the course was done well and not crowded for being somewhat in town. The elevation and terrain changes in the fairway really kept someone on their toes. And then most of the back 9 into the established woods made for some interesting club selections.

My family of 4 went to this restaurant and it was a waste of time and money. We were actually really excited to try out the food! The whole experience was awful. The restaurant was busy with a large group of people BUT they had already gotten their food before we sat down so the service should have been fine for us.First, we ordered appetizers and our entree. It took forever for the apps to come out. They were mediocre tasting but nothing terrible. The bartender/server came over, grabbed the baskets and asked us if we were ready for our check. I stared at him with a blank face and said, “We haven’t even had our entree!” - Like what the hell? We finally got our food that clearly had just been sitting in the back, and the wings my husband specifically asked to be flats were dummies, he never got the ranch he reminded the bartender for, my sons grilled cheese was not grilled and no one came to check on us at all. My chicken bacon wrap had really tough meat and was slapped together haphazardly. The bartender was too engaged with the people sitting at the bar, looking for a tip I’m sure.We wasted $80 on crappy, cold food and a waste of a family outing. We couldn’t even talk to each other because the group next to us had screaming kids and rowdy guests. Honestly, never again!

Fun course and great price.

Came here to eat not golf. First waitress must have just got done and forgot to bring us our drinks. We had to go to the bar and ask for our drinks and had to order at the bar and went back to our table. Once we got our food we had to go get ketchup, napkins, and other condiments that the new waitress did not bring. They forgot dressing for the salad and the broasted chicken was NOT done. We were so irritated that we were just ready to leave. The chicken wings were tiny and dry as you could get. Waitress never check on our table at all and only made an appearance to bring us our bill. Bill charged us twice for taxes. The waitress who was the bartender was more concerned about talking to a guy at the bar and it was non stop. Everything was a disaster. One and done here, won’t be back.
