My name is Henry Gister, I live in Osseo Wi.,for 35 years. I have been eating your pumpkin pie every season for that long. I loved them that long, until I purchased 2 today. And I am sorry to say but it will be the last time I ever purchase one again. The price is ridiculous but I knew it would be worth it. Until I had a piece of one that evening. It was tasteless except for the crust. I was very disappointed. That will be the Last time I purchase one of your pies Pumpkin pies. If you want to reply to my email I would love to hear from you. You can contact me at [email protected] thank you.

We had horrible first time experience. Wernt acknowledged at all till my bf went up for menus after sitting 10 mins. Someone else walked in after us by 7-10 mins and they were acknowledged. Then still didnt get anyone to the table another 10 mins and was nothing but bad attitude with our waitress, but she greeted regulars with all happiness. She even threw one of our pies upside down in the togo container, the other one was fine and huffed when we asked for pies to go with the bill. Tried to message and no answer for a week. Will not recommend coming to this place. Was very disappointed.

Been to mainstreet a few times. First two times were amazing, delicious food, quick service, kind waitresses. This third time, my boyfriend left with a sour taste in his mouth (literally). I ordered the french dip and had no issues. My boyfriend ordered the blt sandwich. The toast was over done and dryer than a bone. There was hardly any mayo which didn't help. And the bacon had a weird? Aftertaste and was over done. He ended up puking before he was even able to leave the restaurant. And had severe stomach cramps afterwards. I don't know if it was a dirty grill issue or a cross contamination issue for the blt. But i do hope y'all figure it out.

Delicious food, generous servings, fantastic service, reasonable prices, and a remarkable selection of desserts. The Main Street Cafe is truly amazing, and we definitely recommend it to all.

We got there at 4:45 pm on a Wednesday night not knowing they closed at 5:00 pm ,we went in to a full restaurant and sat down the waitress didn't tell us they were closing at 5 for starters and we ordered the pork steak ,dumplings and qrout, special that we saw on the way in and when we did get our meal it was canned shredded pork and old saurqrout and mushy dumplings , my wife couldn't even choke hers down but I was starving so I choked it down and it was disgusting. We asked the waitress why it wasn't pork steak and she said that what the cook gave you and we were the only ones all day that got served the canned dog food and she only took 6.00 off of the bill but we still bought a 15.00 overpriced pie and our bill was still 27.00 it will be the last time we ever step foot in that place again , I've had great food there in the past but will never be back .
Pathetic to see such a big named restaurant treat people that way.....

Cozy historic hometown diner with tasty food and old-fashioned homestyle cooking. Daily specials and widely famous for their huge variety of homemade pies! Take a trip back in time to this small town diner, and you won't be disappointed.

Had the very best meal and wonderful care at cafe in Bloomer,Wi. I had a BLT sandwich that was absolutely delicious and husband had a roast beef and mashed potato’s that was as good as his late mom would have made ( and she was a great cook !) followed by two pieces of pie …banana crème and cheesecake…yummy on both…wanted to take entire crew home with us 😊👏🏻

Hashbrowns were very burnt. Other persons hashbrowns tasted like oil. Coffee was lukewarm.

The daily specials were barbecue on a bun with wild rice soup which I ordered as the other special was pork covered with gravy, a huge white dumpling and a bowl of sauerkraut. The wild rice soup was a creamy no flavor soup and the barbecue was cheap hamburger with no seasoning. This food is unappealing and more like something from the 50’s. The cream pies are awful. Lots of fat & calories
