Twice now they have messed up our order. Once they lost or order and when we where given dried flavorless food we did not even receive a discount. Then we ordered “pork” and even if that white flakey “meat” was pork it was dry and flavorless. The service is non-existence and inside is filthy and definitely in a health code violation. As someone who grew up in a small town, that is no excuse for this pathetic restaurant

DO NOT HAVE THEM CATER YOUR EVENT!! Their website says they’ve never ran short on food at an event before, that’s a lie. We had them cater our wedding and about 50 people didn’t get to eat because there was no food left. We had to order pizzas for our guests that didn’t get food and did not get reimbursed for the cost. I called them twice and they said they would send a check in the mail to cover the cost of the pizzas…. Never got the check. They claim they served 350 people, but we did the math and there was only 332 people that attended. Very ignorant on the phone when I tried explaining what happened and ruined the night for many of our guests. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I can’t say enough good things about the service at Ma’s. The staff is INCREDIBLY sweet, personable and efficient. Seriously, Ma’s is the exception to the rule because this kind of personal service is like a unicorn and simply not done anymore. Everyone here goes the extra mile to ensure guests are happy and well fed. If you leave here hungry, you're doing it wrong ?
Parking: Canal street is plenty long and even if youve got to park behind a gaggle of cars, the walk is pleasant as there's plenty of cute little shops to window shop in.
Stumbled upon this local gem while driving. The sign is faded so be careful not to miss it! Wonderful, wholesome, home made food in a friendly space filled with locals. Friendly staff. Lots of freshly baked goods. Try it!
