I have had the amazing privilege to stop in The Mill on multiple occasions on the way "up north" ( I'm from Illinois). Every time I go in there I am greeted like a local and made to feel like they know me. I recently ordered some coffee in a cute little tin and unfortunately along the journey the tin opened and the coffee spilled out. Of course this was no one's fault, accidents happen but in contacting The Mill the owners were amazing and refunded me.... something they did not have to do nor was I expecting. I will continue to brag about and recommend this coffee shop because not only is it adorable with amazing coffee and food (boutique too)but the staff is beyond amazing!!! Thank you and see you in the spring!

We finally visited this cute little (well, not so little!) coffee shop, and while we really wanted to love it, we left feeling pretty disappointed.
When I placed my order, the girl at the counter didn’t say a word to me—not even a greeting—until I asked a question about one of the menu items. That lack of basic customer service really set the tone for the visit.
While we waited for our drinks, we took a look around. The space itself is actually very cute and spacious—definitely seems like a good spot to do homework or hang out for a while.
On the plus side, our drinks were ready quickly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, two of the four drinks we ordered missed the mark by quite a bit. The shake tasted overwhelmingly like straight protein powder—we ended up throwing it away. The iced mocha had little to no mocha flavor—it basically tasted like plain drip coffee. The kids’ smoothies, on the other hand, were pretty good, so at least there was that.
Bottom line: it’s a charming space, but the customer service was lacking, and the drinks were mediocre at best. I might give it another try, but I’m not in a hurry to go back.

I cant say enough amazing things about the experience I had. I had the Orange dream Lotus drink withca caprese sandwich with the spicy dill pickle chips and the complimented eachother so perfect. The day was beautiful and perfect and I wanted everything on their menu so I cant wait to go back!

First time there. Staff friendly, great atmosphere, the line moves quickly. Unfortunately our drinks weren't all that hot. Which I dislike because it takes away from the taste and the drink doesn't last longer. My husband got hot chocolate and since it wasn't hot enough the marshmallows at the end didn't melt which didn't know there was marshmallows. It would had been better hotter. Would go back, hoping the drinks will be hot. The prices are reasonable to any small coffee place.

I love the atmosphere at the Mill. There are plenty of small to medium sized tables and chairs to choose from, depending on if you're there by yourself or with a group. The food and coffee drinks are great! And I love that they have a water bowl and treats for pets who come in! 10/10 would recommend stopping here!
We made a little detour to hit this place as I have heard so many good things about it! It did not disappoint, great drinks, and the cutest shopping experience. Can't wait ti go back!

i love the mill! my barista, Quinnah, was the absolute sweetest and most helpful barista i’ve ever met! i couldn’t decide on what to get and she told me about the pink lotus, AMAZING, and just brought such a big smile to my day. thank you to the mill for hiring such incredible people!!
