The room, bathroom, and linens were very clean and check-in was simple. Comfortable bed. Excellent value. The little things I noticed: A detached hairdryer. I hate the ones that are attached to the wall. I could use this one in any outlet. Real hangers instead of hangers with posts. So much easier for hanging up clothes. Nice toiletries, including a lovely soap called "sweet grass". It isn't really made of sweet grass. But the mint smell is invigorating and it suds up beautifully. I bought some in the handy shop on the first floor.

Was very disappointed that I had to pay an additional $20 to have a refrigerator and microwave added to our room. The exhaust fan did not work in the bathroom and only one light in the bathroom worked so it was very hard to use the mirror for getting ready in the morning. King size bed only had 3 pillows on it for two people. Not understanding why they wouldn't supply 4 pillows for a king size bed. Due to these issues, I will not be returning to their resort to stay overnight nor will I recommend them to my family or friends.

Such a scary, and frustrating experience. Checked in, went to our room, opened the door, and there were people in our assigned room. We could have walked into a really bad situation. Scary...Went back down and we were given a new room. Walk in, we reserved a room with a king bed, the bed was just slightly larger than a double bed. went back to the desk and told the lady, we paid for a king room, and that's not a king bed. She said we only have two types of rooms a king, or 2 doubles. she went on to explain that it's called a king room but doesn't mean it's a king bed. Oh, and if you want a refrigerator and microwave, plan on paying $20 more. What bothers me most, is that this is a casino hotel making money hand over fist, and they rip people off without blinking an eye.

Just got home, , from Northstar Casino! did an over-nite in a free suite! The casino was not crowded at all, , very clean, The food was Ok, Slots were fun! I won 2 jackpots last month, 12, 998.67 then 15 mins later hit another one for 1857.59 that's over 15.000 in 15 mins, It's in Bowler Wisconsin! No smoking casino! They are open 24 hours! Give them a try !! Stay away from Wittenburg!

Gather round y'all, Lemmie tell ya about this poorly managed POS. First, if u just want slots, its a good place. If you plan to play anything with a dealer, there's clearly a dozen "gray hairs" who have an in to sit on a table for 5 hours playing the simplest games giving no care to us pesants. After a dozen people waited 5 hours for any other table to open, I gave my room to the babe bartending and left in unison. They sent the biggest dude out, I'm a serious looking man, to tell me sorry, sir but we wont be opening you table tonight. I had 600 to play not even planning to win and they just don't give a hoot about anyone who isnt native or over 60. Go to green bay.

We love Northstar. Staff are great! Very clean. My mom who is 80 can get around really easy. Has a excellent layout. Hotel right next to casino. My favorite place to go for a fun trip.plus beautiful scenery.

We enjoy an overnight stay at the casino. We like the live music on Tuesday nights. The rooms are quiet and clean. The gaming experience was fine. I enjoyed the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. We will be back again soon.

Be prepared to search for a machine that works which is very frustrating. Didn’t hear of a lot of big winners when we were there. Other than that things were clean and the hotel was nice. They have some nice giveaways.

When you play the slots its always fun to win. I realize you dont always have to win but, when you run a 100.00 through and dont even get your bet back once, that is pretty sad. We did have fun overall. Just lost way too much money the first day I was there.
This casino used to be higher class. However with the lack of concern regarding recurring problems with machines not accepting tickets ( making you use more cash) machines not cashing out, low (if any) payouts and card readers not working ( unable to use free play or get multipliers on points) it has become a disappointment. We will no longer be driving the two hours it takes just to get there, even with the gifts they offer. It's just not worth it anymore.

The North Star is always a fun trip win or lose. The rooms are clean but need electric upgrade. Many outlets and lights don't work. The staff is excellent throughout the entire casino and the food is good. The slots the pass year seem tighter and I heard complaints from random players

My visits to North Star are always a fun adventure. The rooms are always spotless and comfortable. The gaming floor is always clean and well kept. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The dining room and snack bar have lots of choices and are always affordable. If you're looking for a fun getaway, this is the place to be in Northern Wisconsin!

Casino was clean BUT there is no dining for dinner. Deli food was not the best.Machines were VERY tight. Rewards were good. Players card did not work most of the time, thus losing additional points. Rooms were clean but pillows were terrible.
