The best (perch) fish fry I've ever had, and some unique, pickle heavy potato salad. Not noisy. Owners were the chef and his bartender wife. Classic Wisconsin ambiance.

Stopped after seeing the billboard on highway 41 going to Milwaukee. Expected to find a bar and grill and found instead a 5 star restaurant/ bar and grill! Best burger I've had in years and the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and chatting with customers. I wish I lived closer so I could have there food!

This log cabin in the woods should not be missed. Their dining room is beautiful, but the perfect summer weather drew us to their quiet patio. We enjoyed the Piggy Plus On a Bun and a Cuban sandwich. Both provided balanced flavors and a satisfying meal. Our compliments to the chef!

Went to lunch with my future daughter in law service was prompt I ordered a burger it had such great flavor I finished half it was huge She ordered a buffalo burger and stayed it was great I definitely would like to go here again and try other items on their menu

Homemade fried chicken sandwich was so yummy! I don't usually like fried foods, but this was exceptional.
Straight out of a vacation booklet. Walking distance from our cabin and the lake. Log cabin style, cute outdoor seating and music on the weekends. Their burgers have gotten much better and are one of the best around. Pick up is available.

Excellent experience! The waiter was amazing. Friendly and attentive. Respected that we wanted some time to visit and have cocktails before ordering. The Ahi Tuna was delicious! The jumbo shrimp was as well. My stepdad ordered the steak sandwich, but requested the bread on the side... the filet was cooked perfectly and cut like butter. They butter grilled the bun and served it on the side as requested. That was even super yummy! Drinks are tall and the pour is generous!! Highly recommend!!!

Great place, great staff, owner operated, best dang chicken tenders made from actual chicken breast (not frozen pre battered) and sliced into 4 strips - simply the best..!! I've been going there since the 60's, miss ole Huey behind the bar watching Nashville line dancing shows and his comments were priceless... now Andy and Carolyn are so welcoming and fun to chat with....!!!

The beer was cold and thats what the one star is for. We tried to sit at the bar and were told we could not sit there. We took our beer and went and sat on the edge of the stage. While sitting there we watched two people sit where we got told we could not sit. They were allowed to sit there. When confronting the bartender about this all he could do was shrug his shoulders and try and ignore us. Greatly disappointed in Jugs Hitching Post in Kohlsville. We didn't even stay for our table!
