They have absolutely delicious food! I've never had a bad dish there. Tenderloin tips, chili, haddock, salad bar, garlic mashed potatoes, to name a few, are wonderful!
We have dined out at this beautiful establishment several times in the past and had wonderful experiences every time. We raved to family & friends about the nice atmosphere, great service & especially the amazing Friday night perch dinner. I will add that we drive about 45 minutes from home but it has always been well worth it. However, last night was a different story. We hadn't been here in almost a year. I'm not sure what changed, but the fish we ordered was definitely NOT perch. Although it did not taste bad, it was likely a cheaper frozen pollock fillet that was being passed off as perch. The price was about the same as other places but we were very disappointed in what we received on our plates as compared to what we have been served here in the past. I don't normally leave bad reviews and while it wasn't a terrible experience, I felt it was worth letting the owners know that we would return time and time again if you bring back the fish you served in the past. It was the best around!
Dona and Steve know how to run events! Our wedding was flawless and never had one hiccup. Plus sporting clays and upland bird game farm. A true one stop shop!
Wow! That one word complete sums up this lodge. Beautiful setting, great decor, excellent service, and the food is amazing! Everything from the Duck Natchos to the steaks to the Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection and served as a perfect presentation. You will pay for this experience, but believe me, it is worth every penny. Thank you for the wonderful evening!
