Food was amazing. Our server was super friendly and outstanding service. Highly recommend. If I am in the area again will return.
Excellent place to eat it was our first visit but won't be our last. We had Heather as our server and she was exceptionally friendly and helpful she made our dinner experience wonderful. The food is amazing I had the Halibut my wife had the filet both perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Thanks to all for the wonderful dinner experience.
Excellent experience went for anniversary. The staff and service were excellent. Menu pricing was reasonable, and the food was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an elevated dining experience in a rural setting.
Food and service was outstanding! My husband's halibut was the best fish dish we have ever tasted, and my surf/turf with meatballs and shrimp with polenta cakes was sinfully delicious ❤️
It had been a while since we were able to get to the Red Oak, and once again it did not dissappoint! The food was great, as always, both creative and very yummy! Jen was freindly and attentive , the perfect combination! And the strawberry rhubarb Creme Brule was the perfect topping to a great meal! We'll be back! This is our favorite resturaunt in the Kenosha area! Highly recommend!
The food is delicious. The different appetizers have always been our favorite when we come and the daily soup! We love the infused water as well for a special touch. Everyone is so kind. They even treated us with something special in our anniversary. It was a sweet surprise. We will continue to come back again. Highly recommend.
The breadsticks were stale- asked for a new batch and those were much better. My friend and I had the vegetarian risotto- it was nothing special. My husband had the pork and orzo. It was pork meatballs on top of orzo- again- nothing special and he said it was quite salty. Also be aware- the prices used to reflect an 18% tip included in the price. That is no longer the case- they now tack on 20% to your bill.
We always love the Red Oak. Mother's Day was a bit tough, because the wait for food was exceptionally long (2 hrs for food at 1:30 PM). This is just something to consider for future bookings.
Such an enjoyable experience for brunch with a couple incredible choices that aren't always available. The food is amazing and yet affordable and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!!
The concepts of farm-to-table and ethical payment of staff are admirable. Meals are beautifully prepared and presented, but our waiter seemed confused or overwhelmed (even though restaurant was only half full. Long wait for entrees and even longer wait (I had to hunt down waiter and remind him twice) for our simple ice sundae dessert.

Consistently the best food in the area. Every dish of every course is carefully prepared and delicious.
I can't say enough good things about the people at Red Oak. Everyone who works there is delightful, friendly, professional, and accommodating. Their mission of serving local farm foods is also wonderful, and not only helps the community, but I feel better about what I'm feeding my family. The chef crafts a seasonal menu and great specials based around what is in season. Plus the food is delicious. We typically come for Sunday brunch, but dinners are equally great. We live in Illinois but spend time in the area frequently during warmer months, and dine here regularly. Family friendly. Great patio (occasional bees, beware). Fireplace in colder months. Retail items like locally made jams. Highly recommended!
We have been to The Red Oak many times and love the farm to table locally sourced menu. We had some friends in from MN and they were equally impressed.
Waited at our table over one hour. Food was average.

Fun and unique place to dine. Great option for fine dining due to the lack of good restaurants in and around the area.
