We love the Country Lane Bakery and stop in frequently when heading down to our conservation property south of Brodhead. The donuts are scrumptious and a great treat, only being available on Saturdays! We also enjoy the handpies, especially the black raspberry and the assortment of breads. Our two favorites are the bacon/cheddar bread and the apple bread. We haven't yet, but plan to, sample their pizzas as well. Prices are very reasonable and the goods are delicious!

Fun trip to the country. Drive through lots of farm land to get to this gem. Moist baked goods (cinnamon rolls and rhubarb sweet bread). They pickle their own vegetables. Delicious classic pickled beets. Friendly people working there.
