This used to be a cool neighborhood bar. I recently encountered an idiot young manager that had changed my view of this establishment.The bar tender assured me a sandwich was made with specific ingredients (Italian beef sandwich with au jous at least offered if not dipped). When au jous was not available a random substitute was offered. I specifically asked if I do not like replacement sauce can I send sandwich back. I was told no, despite having already spent several dollars in drinks and apps already.To be honest it felt racially motivated. I will not return.

My husband spent many happy times here. It was his favorite bar.
8 people in the place. We order food. 30 minutes after ordering we ask about our food. Guy tells us they just put the food down. It is now 15 minutes later still no food. Seriously, 8 people in the place. Won't be back. I hope the food is better than the service. Food just came, wasn't worth the wait.

Just bought a recently advertised $30 LocalFlavor.com certificate to eat at Zi's. Bartender said they do not honor those because they lose money on the certificate, said they have not honored them for two years. He said just send an Email to LocalFlavor to get money back. When I questioned he said he is not the owner, would not give his name, and told me to just say the business denied the certificate. He said he has not heard of anyone not getting their money back. This was a Saturday night (10/30) place was empty and bartender seemed uninterested in having us order food or even cared that we stay. Very strange, and a warning for anyone else that are thinking of going there, NEVER WILL GO THERE AGAIN. Gave a one star because the building and interior was nice.
