With a motto along the lines of doing it the hard way you must expect absolutely incredible quality alongside absolute authenticity when you visit this beautiful sprawling orchard estate. If perfection were a flavor and a sight you’d find both here!
One of the most beautiful places, I have ever seen. Everyone I spoke with was absolutely inspiring AND there were delicious beverages. Knocked my freaking socks right off.
Amazing people great views, and wine
Absolutely loved our experience here!! Such a fun time wine tasting and we had the best wine pourer. Highly recommend stopping here, we aren’t super into wine and tastings but enjoyed it so much! Will be back.
Very friendly, knowledgeable historian, and amazing cidre.
Great place to go for apple treats, ciders, wines, whiskey and brandy!
Make it your biyearly stop from Chicago to Milwaukee. F the bean. I love Milwaukee. Our annual pilgrimage from St Charles to a downtown venue in Milwaukee starts with a tasting at Appel Treow. The owner really loves his work and is a treasure trove of facts. Ask him about sorghum, and try his whiskey. We love it all.
We loved this winery! It’s down to earth and very chill. The five complimentary tastings and friendly service were very much appreciated. We’ll be back!
Super friendly staff and a delicious variety of ciders, wines, and other. Really cool to look at the orchards as well. I will go back for sure!
Very friendly, knowledgeable historian, and amazing cidre.

We've been trying for a few years to get in this place while they're open, and finally made it today. I like the idea that we got 5 complimentary samples before deciding on what to buy. The service was friendly, and they really know what they're doing. We sampled brandy, wine, cider, gin, and whiskey, then ordered another flight to enjoy out in the orchard area. In Wisconsin, wineries mostly serve the sweet stuff, and we prefer dry and tart; we had several options which were good. The artwork on the containers is amazing, and I found out it is created by the owner herself! We would recommend our friends to visit.
It was a pleasure to learn about the science behind some of these great wines!
Great apples and cider but the apple brandy will definitely be used for some holiday cocktails.
Absolutely incredible donuts. We went on a gorgeous fall day and were amazed by the apple cider donuts. Beautiful grounds to walk. The cider and spirits tasting was really fun and couldn't believe it was free. I got the cask strength whiskey and definitely don't regret it.My only problem is pacing myself on these dozen donuts...
Highly recommend this place! Charles the owner helped us with tastings and you get 5 free tastings, which is very generous! Also for $5 you get a flight of 6! He was very informative and learned a lot. If you like cider, definitely stop by!
