We ordered a lemon cake with strawberry filling for our wedding. Just a simple two tier, but it was absolutely incredible. Not only was it stunning to look at, but it was so delicious! I would highly recommend for any occasion!

The staff is very nice and we're patient with me while I was trying to figure out what to order. The price is good for the quality of the food! And the paczki I got from there were the best I have ever had!

Abby was such a nice person to work with and she did a FANTASTIC job on our wedding cake! The first time I was able to see it was when my husband and I were cutting it and it was beautiful. Not to mention, the lemon cake with raspberry filling received so many compliments! She was very affordable for a 3 tier cake, and I highly recommend her!

This is our absolute favorite bakery!!! Their croissant cinnamon rolls are AMAZING, so light and fluffy!!! Their brownies and cookie bars are also amazing. The variety of offerings is great, too! If you are looking for a cake, cupcakes, cheesecake, doughnuts, cookies, or even macarons, Blackbird Bakery is where you need to go if you want something amazing! We have been coming here since they opened and have NEVER been disappointed EVER!!

Abby did our wedding cake, and I can't even begin to describe how delicious and beautiful it was. All of the guests had a piece and they were all raving. The decorations on the cake were flawless. Abby was so easy to work with and the pricing was super reasonable. She delivered the cake and set it up right at the venue. The cake stand return was super easy. We're already talking about the next cake we order from Blackbird.

We hired Blackbird Bakery to make our wedding cake as well as the cupcakes for our big day. Abby made everything so easy from the tasting to the wedding day. The cake turned out so cute! We unfortunately did not get our cake flowers placed on the cake (our fault not Blackbirds) but it looked so cute still without them. The cupcakes were adorable and were gone so fast. People kept going back for more! I would highly recommend Blackbird Bakery to anyone!

Our personal cake was delicious and our guests LOVED the cupcakes - we had ordered extra, and they were all gone by the end of the night. Abby shared ideas with us throughout the process to really make it align with what we wanted. She helped set up everything day of, and it was exactly what we wanted. Ordered our wedding cake through Blackbird in October of 2023. Everything about our experience was amazing! Our cake was beautiful and delicious with all of our guests loving it! Working with Abby was so easy and she was so responsive and helpful during the planning process! Would absolutely recommend for any special occasion dessert order!

Blackbird Bakery made our cake and cupcakes for our wedding last October, and we all were so impressed with how delicious the desserts were! The cake was phenomenal and our guests loved the cupcakes. We ordered extra cupcakes for our guests, and everyone loved them so much they were gone by the end of the night. Highly recommend working with Abby and ordering from Blackbird Bakery!!

Abby is amazing!!! She did desserts for our wedding at Mercantile Hall and our guests were raving about good the desserts were. We did an almond flavored wedding cake and a dessert bar with lemon tarts, fruit tarts, funfetti cakesicles, chocolate oreo cake shooters and vanilla raspberry cake shooters. She was so wonderful to work with and very responsive. Also, love that on your year anniversary she’ll make you a mini cake!! So glad that Abby and her team
did our wedding! Thank you SO much!!

We special ordered a birthday cake for my mom and picked it up yesterday, and let me tell you, we were speechless! We couldn't wait to show my mom this cake! Not only did she create the type of cake I asked for, but she exceeded all expectations! My mom loved this cake and keeps referring to it as a work of art! And that's just on the looks! Now the flavors; the cake was to die for! The buttercream was delicious and the strawberry filling is so fresh and the best we have ever had. Discovering this bakery this summer was the greatest thing ever. You helped create such a memorable birthday for my mom. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!

Wish I could give 10 stars! These ladies are always going above and beyond for service! Wish there was more I could do to share my appreciation! The donuts and croissants are always my go to but the cupcakes and cakes are always incredible too. Thank you Blackbird and the amazing ladies that help make it so wonderful!!!

Abby did our wedding cake and was so easy to work with. The cake tasted fantastic - we actually went with lemon which I had not planned because it was so fresh! She was able to add flowers I left and made our display table look so pretty! She helped with ideas when I was indecisive. Pricing was also quite reasonable. I would 100% recommend Blackbird Bakery!
