Giving a neutral rating because we pulled in the parking lot, waiting for the place to open. Started reading the reviews, and seeing mostly negative, we decided to move on to somewhere else.

First time there today. Food was great. Had the brisket sandwich. Wife had the pulled pork. Both great. Service was awesome (by the barrel racer). Was cold in the restaurant, made it a little uncomfortable.

Just moved to the neighborhood 5 months ago. Wish someone told me about this place sooner. Great atmosphere, good service, top notch food. Wish I took pictures to share. Had the speical of the month pizza, breakfast burger, speical of the month burger, and the pretzel (Oh the beer cheese) Will definitely be back. I'll get through the whole menu by weeks end if it's all this good! Thanks Burlington Tap and Smoke house for a great meal, drinks and service. See you tomorrow!! Thanks Kelly and Matt.

Shockingly bad food! We left befuddled. We ordered the loaded fries, appetizer “sampler”, and big pretzel (or I should say their “average sized” pretzel). The food was honestly pathetic. Walmarts frozen selection has better tasting appetizers. The gravy on the pork fries was cold and chunky jar gravy. The wings came with zero sauce or flavor. Nasty, nasty food. We were there during a packer game & poker tournament, so the service was lackluster, but not for lack of trying. The bartender was the only one running around serving tables & the bar was also busy. It’s unfortunate to watch an employee be so overworked. Based on the food, I can assume they don’t have a budget for another server. We’ve heard through word of mouth that this place is worth not trying, but we really wanted to give it our own shot. There’s a ton of potential at this restaurant. The menu sounds phenomenal but does not deliver whatsoever.

The taphouse never fails to fulfill a night out...the food is fantastic, the drinks, whatever you imbibe is always on point, the staff are friendly, courteous and attentive... always have a game on the tele front and center, the crowd is family friendly... it's just an all around great time. I would highly recommend Burlington Tap and smokehouse to anyone and everyone. You will leave sated and contemplative of your return trip!

I don't understand how so many people can only give a one star after only visiting once. I've been here multiple times at different times of the day and the food and service has always been outstanding. Definitely recommend the prime rib french dip if it's available and the smoked brisket. Will definitely be coming back again and again.

They have a magician on thurs now. He does tricks at your table while you wait for your food. Was fun.

Where do I start ? If you are from out of town you may be intrigued to try it after looking at the menu online. don’t be fooled by the price point and the description. The food is from the freezer and a can . I would not have tortured my old dying dog with the contents on my plate. I have never, never, never had food like this because I have never been to prison or on death row. Avoid at all costs. Beer was cold.

dont get their chickenCaesar salad. it's the most pathetic thing I've ever seen in my entire life. literally an iceberg of lettuce, that you have to cut yourself, and some diced tomatoes on the side. the chicken was mushy, and covered in salt. its like they dipped it in salt, and then grilled it. I'm speechless. absolutely pathetic. if I could give zero stars I would.
