If I could give no stars I would. Unfortunately, my fiancé and I trusted Gooseberries with catering our wedding for next year. However, we’re recently informed that they are cancelling citing lack of staff. Back to square one with very little time to figure things out. Beware for the future!

We used Courtyard catering for a rehearsal dinner and were very happy with the results. The food included in the Mexican buffet we chose was wonderful and the amounts were generous. The presentation was also very appealing. We particularly recommend the crab cake appetizers! Jaelene was so easy to work with and her communication was excellent. Highly recommend!

Courtyard Catering prepared our wedding meal and dessert. The food was absolutely delicious and the servers were so kind. We had cookies for dessert. They were soft and delicious. We had many compliments! I highly recommend Courtyard Catering!

We used Courtyard Catering for our wedding in June and they did a fantastic job. The food was amazing and there were so many options to choose from. They were able to work with any diet restrictions our guests had and so many of our guests complimented our food and desert for the wedding. The cupcakes were a HUGE hit!

We picked up the Valentine's 'dinner' to heat up at home, and it was shockingly bad. The best part of the meal was the little wine sampler and the cake. The appetizer for both of us was 2 regular size shrimp and 2 maybe quarter-sized mushrooms. My wife's 'entree' was 2 regular size shrimp and a crab cake. Mine was two shell noodles with cheese/sauce. There were a few steamed? vegetables and lettuce salad on the side. All this for $63! I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant, paid $30 a plate, and left hungry... Needless to say I won't be spending any money here again.

The experience started by having a taste testing of various items that we chose in order to make our wedding selections. The food and total experience was amazing enough that we decided to hire them on the spot. Throughout the entire planning process Luanne was helpful and very professional. Despite COVID and all of the stressors a wedding can bring, Luanne and Courtyard Catering brought their best to our wedding day and we can not thank them enough for all that they have done for us. We are a few weeks post wedding and people are STILL talking about the food! We are so pleased with the food and service that we continue to drive 35 minutes to buy food from Gooseberries, the fresh food market, that is a part of CC. If you are looking for good quality food that will WOW your guests and amazing people to help ensure the best experience go with Courtyard Catering <3

The ‘Life on the Farm’ buffet was perfect for our riverside wedding, and the selection of mini cupcakes were a huge hit with guests. Courtyard Catering had everything we needed and more, from providing exceptional tastes to making sure we had everything we needed for an outstanding cocktail hour, wedding dinner, and an overall amazing time. If we could do it all again, we would eat more!

Gooseberries catered my wedding and it was a disappointment. It saddened me because leading up to the day I had all the confidence in them. My experience from the beginning was a great one. I was able to speak with Chef Mike. He made me feel completely comfortable. I walked away from the phone conversation knowing they were the ones to cater our wedding. Luuanne was wonderful as the point person leading up to the event. Extremely thorough, attentive and detail oriented. Where it fell apart was the day of the event. My biggest disappointment is they ran out of short rib (I had a dual plated meal). Although they apologized and did refund me $300, it still shocked me this occurred. To me this was a massive mistake. I also had about 10 people no show to my wedding so even with the wiggle room of those no shows they still ran out. My second disappointment was they forgot to cut the cake. I paid $700 for this gorgeous 4 tier cake and it was not cut because the staff thought it was a fake cake. I had back up sheet cake from a different vendor they cut and distributed instead. It was disheartening because the cake I wanted everyone to enjoy ended up not being enjoyed by my guests due to a miscommunication error (this could have been avoided by reading the contract as my cake was written in that contract). I was able to realize the mistake and when I told the staff they informed me my cake was fake which I knew was not the case (obviously). Unfortunately, by the time they did cut it most people had already eaten the sheet cake. So at the end of the night, almost half of that $700 cake was thrown out. Lastly, I think my biggest disappointment was how underwhelmed I was by their service. Of the wedding budget, the catering was my biggest ticket item. I spent the most $$$ on catering. I was so disappointment by the lack of service the day of. I was surprised that my other vendors like my DJ and photographer out shined my vendor where I was dropping the most cash. They did nothing to make an impact or go above and beyond. There was nothing that left a lasting impression the day of. The best way I can express this is they completely, completely, completely underwhelmed me. Now that I am post wedding- your wedding day is such a crazy day that flies by. I was so thankful for vendors that went above and beyond to put you at ease and just make you feel like everything is handled and you were in good hands and they were thankful for your service and they just wanted you to have the best day ever!!! They did nothing to that effect. If I could do it all over, I wish I would have gone with another caterer :(

Just wondering if anyone else thinks it’s confusing to get information on what the prices are for each thing? Every time I ask someone I never get a answer or they tell me they don’t know the price?? I would love to do justice and give a way better score but it shouldn’t be that hard.

I like their meat department from Amish chicken to Angus beef along with their Apple cider breaded pork chops, some items are constant, but always changing it up so your taste buds don't get bored! I absolutely love the meat counter! Best overall in Burlington area! For already cooked stuff I love the seasoning they use on rotisserie chicken hands down much better then run of mill at pick and save and their signature smoked baked ham sliced warm delish!

Chef Mike and his staff were wonderful to work with for our daughters wedding rehearsal dinner at our home! We were able to provide a very classy event in our own backyard with courtyard catering hosting the event. They served a delicious plated meal to our guests, including salad and dessert. It made for a very relaxing evening for our family as they not only made the food, served the meal, but also did all the clean up. The staff was very professional and it was a lovely evening!
