Stowell's Catering

We used Stowell’s Catering Service for our 10/04/25 wedding at Veterans Terrace, and they completely blew us away. Their pricing was super reasonable and the number of menu options felt endless — it made choosing so much fun (and deliciously difficult).

They handled everything from cocktail hour appetizers to dinner, cake cutting, and even late-night food. The whole team was easy to work with and clearly knew the venue inside and out, which made the night run so smoothly.

And the food… wow. People are still talking about it! The beef tips were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the chicken was unbelievably juicy and flavorful — honestly some of the best wedding food I’ve ever had (and I’m not just saying that because it was ours). Every single bite was amazing.

If you’re getting married at Veterans Terrace or anywhere nearby, book Stowell’s. You will not regret it — they made our day that much more unforgettable.

Our wedding catering was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and we received so many compliments from our guests. Everything was served hot, fresh, and on time, which we know takes a ton of coordination behind the scenes.

From the planning stages to the wedding day itself, the team was incredibly professional, kind, and organized. They made the entire experience stress-free and easy, which meant the world to us on such an important day.

Stowell's recently catered our wedding of 120 people, and unanimously the food was highly reviewed! The beef tips in particular were a huge favorite. They were communicative and were able to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions. We would definitely recommend Stowell's for your wedding or other large gathering.

Attended a wedding using this catering service and had a plastic cup of water taken out of my hands as I was drinking it because the caters needed to clean up. Apparently they reuse plastic plates, silverware, cups, and guest satisfaction is of little concern. Maybe next time just let me finish the water and then come collect my cup?

We used Stowells for our wedding a few weeks ago and the food was amazing. Brenda was amazing to work with and was always answering any questions we had. Our guests are still commenting on how good the food was. I will definitely recommend them.

Attended a wedding last night with this catering company. All silverware, cutlery, plates, cups, etc was plastic. I don’t mind a cost-effective wedding, this wasn’t the issue. After finishing dinner our plates were being picked up as we finished our last bites. Later on, cups with water were collected. My cup was sitting right in front of me and I was actively drinking it. The catering employee grabbed the cup and I said, “oh I’m sorry I’m still drinking that.” She continued to take it from me and said the catering company needed it. I said, “What? It’s a plastic cup. It’s my water and I’m not done!” She repeated herself and said sorry and took it anyway. The tables were completely cleared by 10pm ensuring guests felt like they were overstaying their welcome at a wedding they were invited to that was still alive and well. We left shortly after 10. I would hope if I’m paying for a catering company for my wedding day my guests would feel welcome and not like a nuisance. I would hope water wouldn’t be taken out of their hands. Are we really washing and reusing plastic?!?

The staff was very efficient and pleasant. They did a great job with the food preparation and presentation!
The shrimp platter was plentiful and very well prepared. The stuffed mushrooms were a real hit. The barbecued was tasty and tender.

We used Stowell's catering for our wedding. I received so many wonderful comments on the food and the great service they provided from my guests. They were great to work with and everything was just as promised. I'm still dreaming of the broccoli salad and beef tips!

Stowell’s catered our football banquet this fall and I couldn’t have been happier. They had another event already booked so we had to pick up the food and bring to our venue. I pulled up and they loaded everything secure in my car so there were no spills. They provided chafing dishes, heating elements and all serving utensils. Everything was piping hot at dinner and so delicious- PLENTY of food! Brenda was quick to respond to all my questions and even made some dishes gluten free. Very easy to work with! We will definitely go with Stowell’s again the next time we need a caterer. Thank you!

We highly recommend Stowell's Catering! They catered our wedding 47 years ago and several events over the years. Brenda is great to work with and had our menu to perfection. Everyone at Dad's Celebration of Life on Saturday raved about the food. Use the easy button and let Stowell's do the cooking! Also, Happy 60 years at the Walworth county Fair coming up! Amazing. ???

I am unsure where to begin. We had the pleasure of working with Stowell Catering for our wedding on Friday, August 16. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful Brenda and her team are. The communication between us was outstanding, making the entire process seamless. Brenda even recommended a bakery for our wedding cake and cupcakes, which turned out to be exceptional. We received numerous compliments about the food. Our menu included chicken and beef tips served with potatoes and vegetables, along with a selection of snacks for our guests prior to the main meal. I catered stowells for my wedding this past weekend. Working with Brenda was great, she was able to make last minute adjustments as needed and was fast to respond. All of our guests raved about how excellent the food was! The portion sizes of food they provided was great, nobody left hungry! Will definitely use again for future needs.
