This is an authentic old school bar with low ceilings, a long bar with plenty of seats and great food! NOTE: In the age of cheap T.V.'s or the age of let's put up as many T.V.'s as possible, if it's wonderful to see they have minimized their TV saturation. The menu has plenty of options from Steak, Hamburgers, Wraps, Fish with many other delicious items. The service was not as prompt as one might like, however they were packed on Wednesday around 2pm. The servers were friendly and checked in.

The food is great and we usually love going here! I was a little taken back by being asked to move from our table. There was no where to go! I understand that they needed the table for someone wanting to eat but we had been there drinking already! It's not like we weren't spending money! We had a group of 6 with us and we were all buying rounds and tipping well. At one point a group of people left and offered us their table and we were still told that we couldn't sit there! We often to go out after dinner and have never been made to move and at any other bar/restaurant establishment. If there was room at the bar, we would have moved to the bar but asking your paying customers to stand is by far the worst customer service you could give someone.

Went here on the recommendation of a coworker. Had the fish fry, which was good. Everyone enjoyed themselves. It was clean, well kept. The service was fast, even though the place was packed. Very casual dining environment is the only thing I'd say to be aware of if you haven't been here before, not fancy, but good food and comfortable.

We had the perch dinner and classic chicken sandwich today. As always it was very good. We did a carry out. Nice establishment if you want to dine in. Service is always good.

Been here a handful of times, food is great! Service… absolutely terrible. Servers disappear and then go to the “regulars” first and will ignore you when you try to get their attention

They make their tortilla chips and guacamole to order and it was so good!! Black bean salad is a really great side too. Excellent service, relaxed atmosphere.

First time customer here and I'll definitely be back! Arrived during peak lunch hour and they were very busy, which is a very good sign. We picked a table out in the patio area. All the staff that we interacted with were very friendly and made you feel appreciated for being there. All three of us greatly enjoyed our meals. One in our party was vegan and they accommodated his specific order request with a smile. They had a good selection of beers on tap too. I can highly recommend this establishment.

After a recent trip to Milaeger's in Racine my wife and I were in need of a bite to eat and a little liquid refreshment. We sat in the parking lot Googling, close by, possible alternatives and stumbled on Joey's. After traveling the few miles to get there, we arrived at a little corner joint. The place looked well maintained , but nothing special, so we were going to pass it by, but since we were thirsty we thought we'd stop in for a quick one. LESSON, Don't judge a book by its' cover. The bartender was spectacular! She was friendly and provided exceptional service. The drinks were well made and reasonably priced . The interior was larger than the outside made it appear. The dining area and restrooms were very clean. A rear patio offered covered seating. However, none of this compared to the quality of the food. We had the authentic tacos and the Yucatán Lobster egg rolls and were blown away. The gentlemen next to us, having a business lunch, had a Steak House Bleu burger and a Fried Cod sandwich that looked amazing. I wish I could have eaten more. Stop in, worth the drive.
