Not very family friendly with ppl smoking on the deck and there’s typically men at the bar swearing loudly… even during “grill” hours not “bar” hours. However, on the positive side, the view of the creek is beautiful and the food is consistently good!! Love the Reuben and sweet potato fries.

We love Rockdale. It’s truly a gem outside of Madison. We park at Camrock Park and walk to the bar, order a beer and food and then walk back to our car. It’s got it all… affordable prices, great scenery, an awesome patio, and free popcorn. Highly, highly recommend! Also, be sure to order their tiny tots!

Thoroughly disappointed, the menu that is advertised on the website is not the menu you are given in the restaurant! The website menu advertises homemade pizza and steak and shrimp specials thru the week, along with a good variety of seafood items for a Friday Fish Fry. None of these items are on the restaurants menu! It's basically a burger and sandwich bar restaurant. Also you have to go up to the bar and order your drinks and food! No table service. We will not be going back!!!

This bar should be on one of those cross-country driving shows where they’re trying to find quality food. I stumbled upon this gem after biking down the CamRock trail and my only regret is this restaurant isn’t closer to my home. Amazing cheese curds, incredible burgers made by Marty, and fantastic service. All food tasted fresh, not frozen.
They have one of the best Ruben sandwiches I've ever had! A perfect lunch and libation spot! Fantastic food drink and service!

We walked in, and everyone stopped talking, turned and stared at us. And then they turned back to their plates and tasks. No one greeted us. No one told us if we were supposed to sit down anywhere or wait to be seated. The person at the bar definitely saw us and said nothing. We felt completely unwelcome when we asked at the bar if we should sit down or wait, the lady just looked like she didn’t even wanna talk to us. We asked “should we sit at a table if we want food?” and she said “um sure.” So we left. I’m not sure what’s going on here, but they sure were unfriendly and did not want our business..
