This is a classic place. Going here has become a tradition. The food is great and so is the ice cream. The whole environment is filled with positive vibes and lots and lots of rumbling engines from motorcycles. The roads around the Hamburger Haus are also beautiful which makes for a very scenic drive. Do yourself a favor and visit this place during the summer but be aware that they close sometime during the peak colors in fall so plan accordingly.

It's been about 15 years or so since I've been to the Hamburger Haus. We only live an hour away from it but we just never seem to get up in that area. I decided to take my wife on a car cruise for a burger and some ice cream. We really enjoy taking back road car cruises in Wisconsin. There are so many awesome roads. The drive up to the Hamburger Haus is awesome. Especially with the leaves changing colors. But this is a fun little seasonal spot for burgers, fries, and ice cream. In the summer months it's packed every night. The food is really good. They have a pretty good size menu with something for everyone. It's cash only so be prepared for that. The ice cream is Cedar Crest and they have some portions that are massive for ice cream. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite. We sat outside on the picnic tables and had a great dinner.
