Tried a restaurant, one of the few in Casco. We had a large group of 15 who they accommodated very well. Friendly staff, but the language barrier was a bit difficult, and thus didn't chat much (one day, hopefully will learn Spanish). Only one misunderstanding on the order which they fixed immediately. They didn't add a minimum tip for lg group. We tip more than 20% anyway but still prefer to decide the tip amount. (Note, The "fried fish" was an entire fried fish, but the flavor was very good per the person who ordered). The food was very good, with the BEEF TACOS WINNING as the overall favorite choice. Pricier than anticipated. Will go back, but stick to beef tacos. A bonus of good complementary chips and salsa baskets was provided too.

We went yesterday with my family and friends, we had been wanting something Nicaraguan for months and we finally found this place and it was very unpleasant, my family and my friends are sick, they all had a bad stomach, the food was not as bad as the tacos are good The roast meat is tough, skinny as old, and Nance's fresh meat is pure salt. I think that purges us. It's a shame that they put our country so low. They should be aware of having a place open and the bathrooms are dirty and covered, very unpleasant.

We got the food to go. Burrito was the size of a taco, the asada was terrible you couldn’t even chew it, it was all fat. We threw the food away.

Stay away from this place they are racist & have horrible service. Not to mention horrible portions for how much they are asking for.

The food was terrible and very pricey!! My chimichanga was super tiny and not worth almost 16 dollars. The rice wasn't even Mexican rice, was just white rice with carrots and wasn't even fully cooked. The owners were very unprofessional and you could tell they didn't want us there. They were more attentive to the people that were Mexican, I definitely got the vibe that they didn't care for us being there. Overheard one say something about Americanos and they all were laughing. Do not eat here

Excellent food. Excellent Taste too!! Many options to choose from. They were able to accommodate our party of 11 with no issues. Will come back again!

i don’t even know where to start!!!! thought we’d stop here for some mexican food since were vacationing in the area. The menu online was completely different than the one in the restaurant. The food was absolutely awful. The waiter hardly spoke english so it took about 10 minutes to order our food. The portions are actually very embarrassing for the price they’re charging for their food. I think the atmosphere was the worse part, we heard them say “americanos” and were laughing. How do you run a business like this?? absolutely will not be coming here ever ever again if i’m in the area.

First thing you'll notice is prices are a bit extreme, especially compared to other latin restaurants. Prices on menus are cheaper than what we were charged as well, it seems they haven't updated those but still hand them out. We had several entrees to test out the menu. A beef, chicken and pork dish. Though the food was good, it wasn't as good as we were hoping, my wife is from Nicaragua and had high hopes. Though admittedly, meat here in the USA no matter what will not be the same as in Nicaragua, but the rest of the flavors, sides etc, should've been close to tradition. It was average overall. Our friends that have gone as well did share that the soup is fantastic and traditional but we were told that after our visit. Though we won't make the drive out of the way again to visit here, we might one day stop in again if we cross paths to try the soup and see how it is.
