Atmosphere is want makes it. Food is sadly way overpriced. But it’s okay.Been here over three times and but service Is horrible!! Would leave half star if I could for service.

Our table just had an unbelievable dinner experience at Anvil. The setting was amazing being right next to the waterfall. It was peaceful yet lively with a full outdoor patio. Cozy but yet felt comfortable. Audrey our server was amazing and couldn't have been more gracious. We all enjoyed our food. Thanks again!!

The meat pie ? is a required taste! Other than that, everything else was great.
Love the atmosphere but food and service has been hit or miss in my experience. A better spot for a cocktail and appetizers vs. a full meal, in my opinion.

Love the ambiance...brought friends to celebrate our birthdays. We waited an hr. for our lunch to be served. I had the special lobster roll, which was made with very little mayo and capers. Couldn't taste the lobster. Disappointing. The fries were good. My friend ordered a hamburger, medium and it came overly cooked. In the past, the service was good, the food, exceptional. The outdoor seating is always lovely. They need more help and attention to a classic, well-loved lobster roll recipe and a burger that is cooked "medium" as requested.
Staff are stressed, always running and rushed, very nice, and must be exhausted at the end of the shift. No one person to greet you or acknowledge your presence (not French rude) is just not present. Food, inconsistent fried brussel sprouts came cold Drinks great! Dinner two meals hot wonderful mine overcooked and cold/warm. Veggies overcooked and cold. I know fish, and this was bad! I sent it back for a remake. Go to Italy study how they do fish get it right. Silverware, for God's sake, the name is Anvil...get something that represents the style and robustness of the name. Food came hot and delicious second time.

Stopped by for lunch this past Saturday and had the chicken club with the extra side of onion rings. The onion rings were really good, but the chicken club was outstanding. It is one of the best chicken sandwiches, I have ever eaten.
