Had a wonderful time today at the Chiselled Grape Winery with my coworker. Emily our server was so informative and she knew her wines very well. She altered our tastings based on what we liked and they were great choices. Kudos Emily. Now Alan, what a character, outgoing, personable and just absolutely enjoyable. Will definitely be seeing you again. Loved the entire experience!!

What a fantastic place! Emily, our wine barista, was so knowledgeable and fun! The wines were ALL delicious, great music, and such a cool vibe! Check it out!

Amazing wines, amazing owner and GM with great recommendations based on what YOU like. A Napa California experience in Milwaukee WI. I can not recommend enough.

Wow, excellent wines and the staff really know their stuff and were super fun and friendly. They selected wines based on our preferences and we were blown away w the wines. Highly recommend. Oh, and the pours are generous which is a bonus.

We go there every time we’re in town. Fun and funny time, ALL the staff is wonderful. I’m in love with the owner. Very polite and makes us feel like family. Wine tasting is the best…

Would only recommend this place to my worst enemy. I was there trying to enjoy my day when I saw the owner SLAM the door on women trying to use the restroom. Not only was he rude to them, but prior to this he was walking around huffing and puffing. No amount of wine could have made that atmosphere enjoyable. I hope everyone working there isn’t treated as poorly as the patrons… I hope he has the day he deserves.

EDIT: The response from the owner is immature and lacks accountability- to be expected, unfortunately. I don’t need someone to mansplain my experience to me. No one deserves to be treated the way those women were and the LEAST he could have done was apologize.

Our server was great and fun, but our experience with the owner made 1 star the only option. Allen was extremely irritable and annoyed immediately upon entry. I also noticed him barge in on two girls trying to use the restroom together which seemed quite uncomfortable and unnecessary. He was belligerent and rude and had a sense of entitlement about him. Do not recommend solely based off the owner!!!

We walked by this 100 times before we finally just tried it Sunday. We sure have missed out! Allan, the owner, is a very personable guy and has a great little winery here. Wished we had tried this place sooner as their wines are great! We will definitely be back soon. The Weekend charcuterie boards was a great touch also. Thanks!

Wow, where do I start. We were warmly greeted by the same older gentleman in the pictures on the website. That is where the good times end. We had a younger man come to our table and explain their flights and wines. None of their wines are local. They source them from California. The sweet wines are from Europe. I took the red flight my wife and mother in law took white flights. 18$ a flight plus tax. Our server was quick of toung and had a welI rehearsed script that included a line that caught my attention. "You do the drinking, and I will do the thinking." I was served what was labeled as a Malbec. It was anything but a Malbec. I told the server it was closer to vinegar than wine. It was not a Malbec. He seemed to argue with me that it certainly was a Malbec.The older gentleman confirmed the wine had started to turn. The whites were served warm to what we are used to, and warm whites are hardly ever good. We stopped at this point, frustrated with the wit and poor wines. We paid for full price for our one flight and left. There are many good local wineries in the area, and I would not recommend this establishment. I have a small background in the wine business of about four years. A well stocked wine celler of about 800 plus bottles and travel both Europe and North America always visiting local wineries. If you are looking for a California wine, go to the grocery store. Almost anything they have will be better than what we were served.

Excellent response. No facts, no examples. You must be right. I drove 30 minutes just to come to your establishment just to give an honest review. No comments on your warm whites or spoiled reds. I am sure people who read these reviews will figure it out. Well done, no apologies for the poor experience.

It was packed and the outside tables were all reserved. Our daughter is in a wheelchair so no way we were able to go inside. They made it work for us and I am so glad they did!!! Alan took care of us and it was some of the best wines ever!! He chose our wines and everyone of them were absolutely amazing!!! Thank you for making our day so special!! Next time I will make a reservation!
