This place has been a staple of Cedarburg since the early 1990s. My dad took us here for lunch when we were kids, and not much has changed about it. For that, I'm grateful because it's simply a great little spot to grab a bite to eat while enjoying downtown Cedarburg. The Woolen Mill building, where this restaurant sits, adds an atmosphere of warmth and nostalgia that simply can't be recreated. Creeky floors, open floor joists in the ceilings, antique decor, and even vintage silverware and china is a nice touch. The food here is simple but delicious and hearty. They specialize in crepes but have great sandwiches and some of the best cream of broccoli soup I've enjoyed anywhere. I like the Ham and Swiss and the Reuben sandwiches, and the ham and cheddar crepe is my favorite. Try and get a seat by the window so you can gaze out a Cedar Creek and the waterfall of the dam through original antique glass window panes from when the place was still a woolen mill. This place is especially awesome on cold rainy days. I hope Cream and Crepe is around forever!

My wife and I have enjoyed eating here for over 4 years, located in the classic old woollen mill on the Milwaukee River in Cedarburg WI.

My wife and I did a day trip to Cedarburg for a Small-Business-Saturday-on-a-Sunday kind of thing. As we were wandering around the mall, we smelled a tantalizing aroma of broccoli. We found that it was coming from the floor below where we were. We walked into Cream and Crepe Cafe and found that is where it was coming from. Sure enough, broccoli soup was their soup of the day. We were seated and placed our order for 2 bowls of broccoli soup and a Reuben sandwich. The soup was creamy and delicious, and the Reuben sandwich was loaded with corned beef, though it could have used a little more dressing. Our server was prompt and polite.

Salmon Soup

old school decor but the crepe is revolutionarily innovative, unlike the ones I had at other traditional crepe shops

Super cute cafe next to cedar creek. The service is fantastic, the ambiance is quaint. The food is a bit underwhelming. It has more Wisconsin touch than anything: very creamy, with lots o cheese and salt. If you are looking for a cute breakfast place to catch up with friends, this is a great place; but if you are searching for food that will excites your palette, this may not be the right place.

I had a wonderful experience here! We showed up right when they opened and were sat immediately. Our waitress was very attentive and very fast! I ordered the vegetable soup, and it was so good! I also ordered a savory crepe and it was okay! For dessert, I ordered the apple crepe and it was very delicious! Food was spot on and I enjoyed the staff. There were quilts on the wall, and wooden tables! It felt like a trip back in time. Very quaint and cute. It is next to a beautiful river, and next to a lot of really cute shops!

I enjoyed tasting the variety of sweet and savory crepes, and I’m glad I got to try the place out with the old style atmosphere. I’m happy I tried it, but I don’t know if I’d prioritize coming back.

The food here is delicious. We arrived just before they opened at 11 am on a Sunday. We picked a seat by a window with a river view. It felt like we were in Europe. The crepes are delicious. One savory crepe for lunch and split a sweet one for dessert for a perfect meal. Staff was attentive. After lunch stroll to the bridge to view the river.Wheelchair accessibility: It's not.
