3 stars on the food. Why? Because they don't have Tortas, a Mexican staple. The food is delicious, atmosphere is great and the service was beautiful. But Tortas aren't anywhere on their menu and that's a big deal ( at least to me ) Overall, this place is great. But they need Tortas. They have all the ingredients for it except for the bread. Also, if they ever serve Tortas, I beg they don't use Mayo. Sour cream is the correct ingredient. I recommend eating here unless you're looking for the Mexican staple Tortas. The day they serve this, is the day I'm a regular customer.

So this is the second time coming to this restaurant. We chose it because side of the experience before. Today is my birthday so I wanted to come to this place for good Mexican dinner. Order a margarita. Server brought me wrong flavor and when corrected, took it back to bar and brought me same one back. Nothing different. He said it was peach but was really lime. Second. Ordered a burrito. And it was cold in the middle. Worst service yet. If u have a good experience the first time here. Don’t expect it every time.

Stopped in last minute to hopefully get tacos for takeout. The staff was so nice and allowed us to dine in as there were several people still enjoying their meals. I ordered the pastor corn tortilla tacos with cilantro and onion. Lettuce and tomato option is also available. Our meals came out nice and hot with a side of beans and rice. We left fully satisfied and with full tummies. We will definitely be back, especially because they were so accommodating. I dont encourage stopping in restaurants 30 minutes before close, thats just me, at least not for dine in but you can always ask if they mind. Im confident you will be welcomed as warmly as we were and they will be happy to seat you or get you a great take out meal.

Juan Carlo runs an amazing restaurants. At this point I've had all of the servers multiple times and you can't go wrong with anyone. I'm here twice a month for my payday margarita. I love their margarita flights. Food is always hot, delicious and quick. My go to in Cedarburg!

We celebrated a birthday party here this past weekend. Our group had 12 people total, five of them being kids. Carlos was our waiter and did a phenomenal job. At one point my toddler spilled a bowl of salsa, and before I even noticed it had spilled, he was already wiping it up and swapping out a clean chair for us. Everyone really enjoyed their food and it was definitely authentic tasting. The restaurant itself was also very clean. We will be back for sure and we'll recommend friends and family visit as well. 10/10!

We had a great time at La Cantina as a family! Cozy place with good margs and decent fajitas. We noticed mocajetes and parilladas on the menu and plan to try them next time. Good service.

Hands down the best restaurant I never ate at. When I googled La Cantrina in West MI, this WI restaurant came up, and not noticing the WI address, I ordered by phone (yes, you can still do that!). Nina was super pleasant and actually knew the menu very well. When I arrived at the MI restaruant and - to my horror - realized my error, I called the WI restaurant to apologize. The man I talked to was extremely gracious and understanding. In today's world, if your staff can deliver excellent customer service, the food would be amazing as well, and I want to try it sometime.
By far the best Mexican food. Staff is also amazing. One of our favorites
