I dangerously discovered this gem of a cookie shop on my lunch break when looking for a treat to bring back to the office. I say dangerous because it’s going to be difficult to resist going back every lunch break. I picked four different flavors and they were all amazing! Good thing I only work in Cedarburg twice a week…

This was the POP UP shop or something of that sort in the Mequon public market not the Cederburg location. But it’s to my understanding it’s the same cookie company. The pop up show was decorated thoughtful, the atmosphere was very inviting and so was the staff. I was drawn in by the colors, and the cookies so carefully placed so it catches your eye. The staff member behind the counter gave me suggestions on his favorite cookies, after giving me some background information on the company. I tried a few and really liked them, however out of all the cookies I tried the oatmeal cookie pie hit the best.

Happened upon this delightful cookie place on our way to taste some wine. The cookies were insane--there's something for every palate.

We got the Dumpster Fire and Chocolate Chunk and both were delectable. We thought we'd take a bite each and save the rest for later, but we couldn't stop eating and finished them both within minutes.

The owner (assuming he was the owner) was lovely.

The beautiful store also has a plethora of party decorating supplies.

Parking: We couldn’t find a spot at first but after just a couple minutes someone left and we took their space. It looks hard but I would never let that stop me from going to Lakeside Cookies!

I drove from Illinois to have some cookies and they had fake hours, tried getting in at 4:15 on a Saturday and the doors were locked. I am very disappointed because I really wanted a cookie.

Perfection. Every time my family and I come here, we always leave with the best cookies. Always soft, full of flavor, and beautifully decorated. So happy we have this gem in our community! The owner is super nice and helpful, as well. Highly recommend!!

I couldn’t recommend this place more. I used to live down the road from this shop when I was in graduate school at Concordia. Some of the best memories I have from being in Cedarburg is going to this shop when I needed a break from school or when family/friends came to visit. I could always count on the owner of this store bringing a smile to my face from being so kind and of course taking home many more cookies than I needed because they are the best cookies I’ve had. Make sure to stop in and get the best cookies around!

My go to place for ALL things cookies!!! The cookies are as delish as they are beautiful! Our Holiday table always includes some sort of fabulous treat from Lakeside. Definitely worth a stop!
