We came here yesterday in hopes of catching music on the patio. Once in the restaurant, we were talking to the hostess and a man started speaking over her, which appeared to be the owner. He basically took over the conversation from afar and said the music was almost done, so we didn’t go out there and instead went to the bar. At the bar, we ordered drinks and asked for chips and salsa (it was still 10 minutes before their kitchen closes). They said they had no more chips or salsa left, but we felt like they just didn’t want to give us any. Overall, the owner made us feel unwanted and his staff did as well. They were not warm and friendly, but yet cold and clearly not wanting to serve us. Very unfortunate service, would not recommend to a friend.

It took 15 minutes after being seated to even be acknowledged by a server and that was after I said something to the hostess. It was not busy and we actually watched our eventual server clean up tables around us as we sat waiting. Our drinks were brought to us in smaller plastic cups. The mojito I ordered had so much lime juice it was hard to drink. We then asked for water which was served in an actual glass cup but we were only given 1 glass to share between the two of us. The food lacked any flavor and was so over cooked that the small amount of seasoning on the meat was over powered by it being burnt. There couldn’t have been any seasoning on the vegetables. Completely tasteless. The beans were awful and the rice was clumpy and cold. From start to finish the entire experience was pretty bad. I wish I could somewhat justify it by saying it was reasonably priced but it wasn’t. We went on a recommendation from a friend but would never pay that recommendation forward.

They have a great bar list. The mini drink flights are tasty and fun. Nachoes werent your typical piled high ones like you'd expect. They were very creative and delicious. Their chips are served warm with their own homemade seasoning. The tacos are amazingly delicious. The alioli and mexican slaw was perfect to top them with. The brisket tacos are the best I've ever had. Next time I plan on trying the enchiladas. Everything was great. We did end up spending about $100.00 in total for 2 people, but it was totally worth it. The service was friendly and attentive aswell.

I have eaten here several times. The food is always great, and the service is good. I suggest the duck tacos, tostada salad, or enchiladas.There is a heated tent out back for when the weather is decent enough. I have eaten out there in winter, and it is pleasant if the temps are above 40. The tent is opened up in nice weather, and they have live music some nights
