We decided to start our first visit to the area at Maxwell’s, drawn in by its appealing aesthetics and relaxed ambiance. We shared the mac and cheese appetizer and a chicken Caesar wrap while sipping drinks at the bar. The food was great, and the service was fast & friendly. The bartender even took the time to answer my numerous questions about her recommended places to visit while in the city.

The service from the bartender was absolutely terrible. He was extremely inattentive and when I gave him my credit card to pay for one beer he left it open as a tab. My buddy and I ordered wings in a couple of burgers. The burgers came first and when we asked about the wings the bartender forgot all about them and didn't order them so we just scratched that idea. During dinner we could hardly get a beer cuz the bartender wasn't recognizing us at all. He apparently left my tab open on my credit card after giving it back. This is the morning after and I went to the gas station to buy a coffee and I couldn't pay for it with my card because he left the tab open. I don't know what planet Eric was on but he is the worst bartender I have ever encountered in my entire life and I'm 58. I will not go to Maxwell's again and now I understand why the entire place was empty.

Major let down. Came in around 8:50 with a group people. Me and my husband were just walking around the restaurant to see where we wanted to sit since we wanted to eat. Julie, the waitress comes around and says “can I HELP you” I said we wanted eat, she stated that the kitchen closes in 8 minutes. There are signs saying pizza and and pretzels are served after 9 pm? So not sure on the miscommunication.

Service was slow, brought our French onion soup out and the cheese wasn’t melted, it was not even slightly warm. We never got water refills our entire dinner. The fish fry, horrible. The beer battered cod filets were bland and tasted like frozen fish sticks. Slaw was not good either . Would definitely not go back .

Cool local pub that has great food and drinks. Staff very accommodating to our crazy group, super professional and sweet.
Good service. Good food. Good beer. What else could you ask for? Burger and fries were delicious. Cheese curds we perfect and hit the spot. Cold beer was good enough to have a couple with my meal. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Went to get pizza from Tomaso's across the street but it is so good we had to wait so we came across the street to this bar that had my father in laws last name. Bar tender that looked like B-Real from Cypress Hill was happy to see us and had no idea who we wr. At that moment i knew i was going to be here for a while. Ordered 20 teriyaki wings and they came out FAST and perfect. Wish i lived closer because i would DEFINITELY be a regular here.
