I’m a regular here often and usually have a good experience, but tonight was disappointing. I showed up 7 minutes before closing, only to find the doors already locked while the staff just stood inside looking at us. No one acknowledged us or made any effort to explain. I understand people want to close on time, but if your hours say you’re open, the doors shouldn’t be locked early, especially when regulars are trying to support your business. Really let down this time.

Yesterday we had food catered for a party. The entire process was smooth and the food delicious as usual. Highly recommend! This is our fourth time catering and it was A+ yesterday as well as every other time

I have been to Out and Out several times through work and personally and am never disappointed. The space is beautiful and the food and ice cream are delicious but the staff are just incredible. Although they are sometimes quite busy around the lunch rush they never make you feel hurried. We will definitely be coming back.

Custard review. Been there 3 times in 3 months. Each time none of the desserts were good. On all three occasions I could drink the sundae. Shakes were very watery. At least one of the cups was missing a topping.

I give it five stars despite awarding 4 each for food and atmosphere. Sometimes the mac and cheese is great and sometimes just good, but the frozen custard here rivals any elsewhere in Wisconsin, including Kopp's and Leon's.

I’ve been listening to the hype for years about this place so I finally went and meh. I will say though that I prefer my Mac n cheese to have soft noodles and more creamy cheese. This was cavatapi noodles cooked aldente so they were a little chewy with a thin liquidy cheese sauce that tasted just like Kraft. I enjoyed the flavor but I guess I was just expecting more from the hype. Customer service was great and the malts were good though. Overall my experience was good, I just prefer my Mac a little different than most.

Out & Out is a crowd pleaser. They have mac & cheese, yummy sandwiches, super fresh salads, and ice cream! It’s my go-to for a quick dinner when we don’t want to cook and it is the absolute best for catering any event; big or small. I LOVE Out & Out!
