Settler's Inn is now under new ownership and is known as Dorsey's Café and Market. It is located in downtown Cedarburg in what was once a historic tavern. The place doesn't look exceptionally attractive from the outside but is clean, spacious, and serves a variety of food, desserts, and beverages. Our most recent trip there was for a carryout fish fry which is available Friday nights with cod or perch, coleslaw, and a homemade dinner roll. We went with the potato pancakes which appeared to be homemade and were very tasty. We also selected a small pie from their dessert case. In the past I have stopped with friends for a sandwich and have also picked up one of their ready made meals that simply needs to be heated in the oven. Compared to some of the restaurants in town that can get very crowded on a busy weekend, I would recommend stopping at Dorsey's. The food is tasty and there's plenty of room to spread out;

Probably the best crispy chicken sandwich you can get in the state when it's available on certain days. Really cool place in historic downtown cedarburg. They offer dine in or carryout, with ample seating and a bar.

Had a late lunch/early dinner in what is now called Dorsey's (the son of Settlement Inn owners took over and renamed the place). This fish wrap was pretty tasty, though I would recommend they take it up a notch by warming the wrap beforehand. What I received instead was warm contents in a cold wrap. Also, the homemade chips, which are usually quite good, were under- cooked leaving many of them in raw soggy potato form. A bit more attention to quality, details, and customer service would make all the difference.

Went for lunch with family. Prices were good and food was great . We had the Italian heros with fries and wife had the home made chips. The sandwiches were both full of flavor and both fries and chips were great . Daughter had a burger and fries also she loved it. Customer service was great and polite. We definitely recommend to stop in and have a bit. We definitely will be making a regular trip for lunches in the future. We done .

High quality food that tastes great and leaves one satisfied. The place was empty the few times I ate here, but there are nice tables by the windows that offer a view of daily town life.

My family was very pleased with the lunch catering service from Settlers Inn for our mother's funeral. The food was delicious and delivered on time. Joan worked with us to create a meal that fit our wishes. I would highly recommend!

First time in Settlers Inn, and it was a great experience! Staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and make great recommendations. I ordered two different fish fries with two different sides, and everything tasted delicious. Their tartar sauce was excellent too. I also had to try a piece of their German Chocolate Cake, and it was to die for! I cannot wait to go back and try more of their food.

I have never had a bad meal here. I love their food!! It’s so heartwarming and delicious. I love the space — unique, comfortable, very spacious and perfect for lunch with a group/family or just a couple. I also love that they have a bar if you’re feeling like a cocktail with brunch, good coffee and such a great menu. I can’t say enough about this special place in Cedarburg.

Very good, light breakfast of quiche and coffee. Excellent scone to finish it off. Friendly and attentive staff! KISS
