Hilde’s food is like eating at home the way mom made it. But don’t tell your mom. She will get jealous. Hilde always goes above and beyond. Anytime we are sick or have a sick kid she whips up some chicken noodle soup for us. Always freshly made. Plus her lunch specials are always fair priced. I always tip 20%-30% because I feel she doesn’t charge enough. Don’t even get me started on the desserts. Always get yourself one.

Stopped on a whim and boy are we happy we did! The Apple Kuchen was fantastic (wishing we had picked up both apple and the berry choice), German Potato Salad was outstanding….. literally everything we picked out was delicious. She even gave our pup a Turkey sandwich! We will, undoubtedly, be back.

Love places like this in the old downtown areas. The rest of our party ordered off the daily hot food menu and really enjoyed their meal, but I had the artichoke pizza, and it was remarkable!! I highly recommend the pizza. I can't imagine that I would have loved anything as much. The pastries were also very good.
