The food was terrible. The “supreme” nachos had only cheese, beef and soggy lettuce with no flavor. I wouldn’t finish them. This is just one example of how bad the food was. There were 4 of us and none of us ate our meals.

This place will get something wrong with your order almost each time you go to the place for pickup. It seems less random when you eat in but they still do not go out of their way to make your order correct. After 5 call in orders in a row where they screwed up and gave us someone else's order or forgot items I simply asked for a refund and I no longer wanted to eat there and refused to accept the food . The manager a big bald fella told me he my order was to much and that I still had to pay for the food they gave me despite not one of the items being my order well over $125 dollars . He refused to correct the order and refused to refund me for the food I did not order . So I made a scene . I made sure every customer in the store knew this place is a food spot that will steal your money. They never refunded me before or after I spoke up . Still to this day they owe me 125 dollars in food I do not want nor will I ever see in return . Never eat here . There is a true gem Mexican spot not far away Casa Vallarta in Eau Claire is the best Mexican food in the state and it is ALWAYS perfect and tasty unlike this horrible place called Cancun . Not worth your time . Less gross than its Chippewa competition but worse service than anywhere I have ever eaten.

The place seemed to be a popular place but the person who waited on us didn't seem to be focused on things. The fajitas that I had had little flavor and seemed to be made from packaged ingredients and the cook forgot to include the spice pack in the mix. It was quite crowded and getting around was a pain where we were seated. We weren't very impressed.

This place has gone severely downhill in the last year or so. The food quality is awful. Issues from the last meal...Shrimp extremely fishy. Vegetables undercooked. Found a dark hair in my burrito. The food was comped, but it makes me question their sanitation standards.

Their portions have changed DRAMATICALLY for togos. Their cheese sauce LARGE is now the size of their small and the small is now the size of a 2oz portion cup. Same prices though. Nachos were half what they normally are. Staff was VERY rude when I asked why the sizes were different from when I ordered last week. The one guy at the register rolled his eyes at me and told me leave when I took out the cheese sauce and asked nicely "did I accidently get a small?" I left without another word after that, there's no reason to argue or fight about it. I was just surprised and was not prepared to be treated that way after going there for over 12+ years.

It is awesome. Everyone is nice, ready to seat you upon interning the door. The food comes out fast with barley have to wait, and they give you chips, salsa, and cheese to eat while you wait for your food. It's one of my favorite places to eat.
I’ve given this place five different tries. Some people rant and rave about it and I was honestly trying to find out why. Who doesn’t love adding an excellent restaurant to their list of favorites?Every single time I’ve had a less than mediocre experience. Food and service is subpar, even during less busy times. I honestly tried to like it, but some examples of my personal issues were; Cold food, undisclosed ingredients in their items, I.E. onions, peppers, lettuce, beans that were not disclosed in the menu descriptions. Also experienced on every occasion an extremely less than attentive staff. Asking for drinks you don’t ever receive or when they do eventually come, they’re incorrect. They often don’t even come around except initially taking your order.The atmosphere is great though! Theres great opportunity here, the execution is just lacking.There’s literally another Mexican restaurant minutes away and I’ve personally had better experiences.

At this location as opposed to EC: would not let me order one seafood enchilada— would not let me sub fried rice for beans without upcharge of $1.50… balked at request for sour cream and tomato—so I ordered a plain soft taco. $3.69.

We love this restaurant but after tonight won’t be going back. We had to send feed back not once but twice! Our server ignored us. Manager was rude made me cry in the restaurant told me I complained every time I’m there. I have never complained once! I’m very disappointed in tonight. Our server was new but he didn’t answer questions or listen to us.
