Way to many kids working. Awful mcdonalds location. One of the worst I've ever seen. Also don't bothering ordering inside they only care about the drive through.

I have to stop going to the drive up. I order my hamburger without onion, and they constantly put in onion. I am allergic to onions. Toss the burger out. Why do I even try to pick up a meal there, on my way to work?

I realize good help is hard to find, but wow, never seen scraping from the bottom of the barrel before. That was 3 years ago, tonight 8 decided to swing though and try it again, i can't believe it, but it got worse. The people that are there tonight definitely should not be in customer service.

New lady tried to help but needed to call the manager on duty for the lunch shift for Wednesday, May 28th 2025. I could tell there was somewhere else she would rather be. Was a little snotty towards the new girl. Took 5 minutes to get two hamburgers with ketchup and onions.

We had an unfortunate experience with the McDonald’s in Chippewa Falls that we feel needs to be shared. While traveling with our small children, we accidentally placed a mobile order through the app for this location, even though we were nowhere near it. Realizing the mistake almost immediately, we called the store on Sunday afternoon to ask for help canceling the order.

The woman who answered identified herself as the manager. Rather than offering assistance or even basic courtesy, she abruptly told us to “Google it” and stated she was unwilling to help. We politely repeated our request, hoping for a bit of understanding—especially given that we were on the road with young kids and trying to resolve the issue quickly. Unfortunately, her tone grew more dismissive and condescending. She told us that if we didn’t like her response, we could call the manager and complain the next day—implying she wasn’t actually the manager after all.

To top it off, she set the phone down without properly ending the call, which felt like an intentional brush-off.

We understand that mistakes happen, and we weren’t demanding anything unreasonable—just a bit of help in correcting a simple, honest error. The lack of professionalism and empathy, especially toward a family traveling with children, was deeply disappointing. This experience reflects poorly not only on the customer service of this specific location but also on the McDonald’s brand as a whole.

We hope this feedback leads to a more compassionate and helpful approach in the future, particularly toward families and travelers who may be relying on quick, reliable service.

Thank you. I had two meals, a happy meal, and 4 sandwiches. I was shorted all 4 sandwiches. Being in a hurry I forgot to check and was 30 minutes away.
Not the first time it's happened either.

The guy in the drive thru- makes us feel very uncomfortable. He's not friendly...AT ALL...and just rushes you to order. We come here enough to know. I'm finally leaving a review because we came through here tonight with my family again for a quick bite after a long night, and we got the same experience in the drive with that same guy. If you need proof of my upset...then our order # was 93 for $25.25 and we were there at 10:15pm on 10/19/2024. I didn't see a name tag but the guy just shouldn't be doing that kind of job if he can't even be friendly. Even once. ONCE!!!!!
