I highly recommend the Sheeley House! The staff are so friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. Being a vegan, it can be hard to find quality food, but I let the servers know about my vegan diet, and the chef was able to offer several amazing vegan options for me! I’ve been a couple times and I had a fantastic vegan options - veggie flatbread, vegan brussel sprout appetizer, and a portabella mushroom with seasonal veg.

The owner is a delight! The atmosphere , service, bloody Mary’s and Brussel sprout appetizers were five star all the way! We will be back! ;)

i have been here a few times after work for a few beers.. always feel rushed and that they are trying to make room for new customers closer to dinner time..but i have never experienced a saturday night quite like this before. honestly the worst experience i have ever had out to dinner. we came in (a party of 7) at 515 and were asked if we had a reservation. we didnt. instead of problem solving with us the server asked a table to get up and relocate. (there were open tables upstairs and downstairs mind you). we sat down, no drinks were taken and my baby didnt get a high chair for 25 minutes. ordered drinks from the hostess because our "server" didnt come back and she was great! but then our server took the drinks from her mid order, didnt continue to ask what drinks we wanted and walked away. We over heard her say "this is my table" quite rudely to this hostess. The hostess ended up walking out quitting within that hour They told us. We got our drinks 20 min later. one of us ordered a bud and it was expired! Tasted terrible! Turned out.. all of the bud bottles were expired and we had to switch but said nevermind we dont want one. another dirty martini was straight vermooth (went up to the bar to ask for olive juice and waited 15 minutes with a baby in hand). We ordered after 30 min.. and waited another hour plus for our food!!!! We had it by now and wanted our food to go. 3 kids an hour n a half later we were telling people walking in the door to turn back. Got 1/3 of our food, and 1/4 off the cost after complaining and had to still wait 15 more minutes for the rest! We left with missing yet another meal, got $50 off a 100+ tab (doesnt sound like an apology to me), and still got charged for the expired beer! Our server did not come back once asking for a drink refill within the 1.5 hours and didnt give us any update on our food. It was honestly the worst experience i have ever had anywhere. we will be calling tomorrow to get compensated for another meal we did not get. Honestly the only way i would have been satisfied at this point was them covering our food... and nope that wasnt offered. Do NOT recommend!

What a great establishment. The food was great, wait staff attentive,and the ambiance was something you don't find anymore in casual fine dining. The chef is off the hook and everything was way beyond expectations. We were passing through on a trip from MN to a bit further into WI and stopped on a whim. Make sure to say hi to Mom and Jes the owner. Read the history of one of Chippewa Falls oldest businesses, it is fascinating,and beware of the ghosts. Highly recommend and will stop in when we pass through again. Great job Jes. Risotto and chicken,steak and the others I checked was what we ordered.
