My husband and I went here for dinner 4/6/24 and it was so good! We had the stuffed peppers, a downtown reeve sandwich, a roadhouse burger, and a side of Mac and cheese. All the food was fabulous! Our waitress was super sweet too. I wish I would have gotten her name to give her a big shout out! We loved the vibe there- great music, Christmas lights, the signs on the wall. Thanks again- we will be back!

Relatively small menu but everything we had was outstanding. Great venue, great team, great food. Entrees are artfully presented and brilliantly conceived. Most amazing was the vegan scallops appetizer. Will definitely return.

Very cool place on the inside! I suggest going here if you love bloody Marys and unique food! There are many different flavored bloodies here to try. They do not fry anything which is great! It would be very cool to see this place do a bloody Mary flight. With their great food and drinks, I think a little more advertising could make this place incredibly popular.

This place is fantastic. Great roadhouse atmosphere. Food was top-notch. Amazing burgers, apps, tacos, entrees and more. Everything was fresh and served piping hot. Five diners and everyone enjoyed their meals. Cool cocktail menu. Definitely worth a drive to get to this out-of-the-way venue.
No clue why this place doesn't have five stars. I am obsessed with this spot. The food is unmatched - I definitely recommend the tacos (carne is fire) as well as their flatbreads and ANY of the apps. Zero friers in this place so not your traditional bar food. You will not be disappointed by the food. Best kept secret in the Midwest. Trust me. Gooooo!

Amazing bloodies! I’m very picky about my bloodies. The food was really good but the few times we’ve been there, there is one person working and I wanted to jump in and help honestly- it gave me anxiety watching these poor ladies try to keep up. The menu was really varied and you can tell the food is homade.

Last night was our second trip to 2nd Ave, first time our group LOVED the food, it was so fun and we were excited to be back!Last night we went back and were so pumped! They had posted the last few days about “smoked drinks”, wine & whiskey. I had asked for a Smoked drink and the bartender did not seem to excited about it, I settled for a different drink. We later had some smoked wine, with our meal, which was delicious. The steak bites are to die for! So yummy! The menu has a lot of awesome choices! Unfortunately my partners Asian chili burger, I can’t recall the exact name, was so salty he could not eat it. I had the escape burger and it was 10/10. Service could have been better and friendlier, there were only two other couples at the bar and we did wait for long periods of time of drinks, our bill, boxes, etc. we will be back for a different burger and to try the stuffed mushrooms and peppers!
