I enjoyed the food, but the service felt impersonal and rushed. The quick table turnover made it difficult to relax and savor the meal. Additionally, when I ordered a beverage halfway through my entree, it arrived very late, right before I finished. For a restaurant of this caliber (and price point), I would expect a more attentive dining experience. For example, when I ordered a beer halfway through my meal, it arrived right before I finished. It seemed they expected me to finish my drink quickly to free up the table. It would have been nice to enjoy the entire beverage with my meal.

I went on a Friday night for, what else....the fish fry. We had a reservation and did have to wait a few minutes. It was packed. This is a rural (in the middle of farmland) dive bar. A few beers on tap. I had the capital amber and then Lienies original. We had the cheese curds as an app, they were delicious. Served with ranch. Rolls and butter. A small relish tray, comprised of radish, baby carrot, and green olives. I had the fried fresh with lyonnaise potatoes. The fish was decent. The lyonnaise potato was delicious. The coleslaw was creamy and a little little bit sweet. I really liked it. Attentive service, even with how busy it was. Definitely will be back to try the primary on a Saturday night. I hear it's a legendary. I've also been told the hamburgers are quite good.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, and the entire experience was very good. Food, service, and ambiance were all great. The prime rib is excellent.

We just got done eating at Albertville Tavern. We were here many years ago... we thought we would give it another try. Let's just say we will not be back. We waited 20 minutes just to get water and a menu. After we ordered it took 45 minutes to get our food. My husband got a hamburger and I got a one-piece fish dinner. Not to mention when we got our food that it was not that great. When I mentioned how long it took to our waitress she was not very friendly and not very apologetic for the long wait. Then she turned around and walked away and another waitress finished taking care of us. It's safe to say that we will not be back again, or recommend this place to anyone else.

The portions are huge and service decent. But there's a surcharge on credit cards, and not disclosed until you get the bill. With a $100+ tab that's ridiculous.

Owners and staff are awesome! Called in to have a late dinner before the kitchen closed and they had a table set for us when we arrived!
