Carhops were friendly. I drove out to try the homemade root beer and unfortunately learned that they are serving Barq's now. The food was standard fried food, but pricey for what it was.

They changed their French fries. From a fabulous type of steak fry style to crinkle cut. They also seem to have changed the type of ground beef used in their burgers. It's a finer grind that doesn't hold together very well and is rather tasteless and dry. A less pleasant mouth-feel and doesn't taste like beef. The patty was broken into three pieces and crumbled as I tried to eat it. Unfortunate, I really loved this little, local burger stand. Very disappointed in the changes.
