This place has been on my list of places to try for a long time. Glad my family finally made it in today after a trip to Bond Falls. The inside is decorated very nicely. The staff is personable, warm and friendly. Most importantly, the food is fantastic. Our party of 10 all enjoyed their food. The kids were very happy, and the staff was nice to put a kids’ show on the TV. Also, they serve coffee drinks that are great too! Looking forward to our next trip!Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating and they have a kids’ menu!

I really like the Boat House Grill & Cemetery because they have delicious snacks that my family love to enjoy stopping to eat when we're ready to take a break from riding our UTVs thru the northwoods when we come up to our summer cottage from Chicago. The staff are very nice and professional and courteous and the boat theme is really fun for the kids as well and my wife and me. Conover is blessed to have such a great little place yo stop and eat and have an excellent cup of coffee or espresso. We look forward to coming back year after year and our kids love that big red truck parked on the corner of highway 45 and the side street across from the old day care center.Parking: There is ample parking in front of the Boat House Grill and Cemetery in their gravel parking lot and along the side street. My family and I have never had any trouble finding a place to park even when it's busy.Kid-friendliness: The Boat House Grill & Cemetery is the perfect place to bring kids especially if they're interested in looking at vintage outboards and sitting in a boat to enjoy a kid friendly meal like chicken fingers or a grilled cheese sandwich.

Fabulous perch dinner last night. Gently breaded so that you taste the fish. Great coleslaw - not too dry, not too soupy. Very friendly and attentive staff. Young man is a joy! Fresh ice tea - the best I’ve ever had. Just a perfect evening! Thank you!

I was very disappointed. The food was just ok. I had the salmon roll. It came on toasted bread folded in half. The chips on the side were ok. I had onion rings, and they were good. Unfortunately, I'm just not impressed with anything. The service was by the owner, I think she was just doing too much. I say let your staff wait on the tables and cash people out and seat them. Sorry, I don't think I will be back.

Was there for 2 hours for lunch. Waited a solid hour just to get some water and had to almost beg for that. Never got the drinks we ordered. (and I fear that I still paid for them) Luckily had a comfy seat on the end of the pontoon boat. There were about 40 customers, 2 waitresses (one of which was also scooping ice cream half the time) and 1 cook in a 6x12 kitchen. The food that came to the table after 1hour and 40 minutes was good but not worth that kind of wait and service. Oh! and, they have a cedar crest ice cream chest that they fill cones out of. Not really a "creamery".

Went here after biking the Conover-Phelps trail. Great ice cream and very kind service. They have a coffee shop, called Upper Deck, next door now that is under the same ownership. I had a maple latte there; after visiting Vermont for my honeymoon I’m obsessed with a good maple latte, and Upper Decks was fantastic. Awesome service at both places, we will definitely be back! Great stop if you’re doing the Conover-Phelps trail.
