We noticed this great looking place on our way north to Ladysmith recently and were happy to stop in to check it out. We have some friends we like to try breweries, wineries, cideries, and pie places especially when there are games to play or it's cool to bring games in. We enjoyed every flavor of beverage we tried. My favorite was the Honey Lavender Lemonade Seltzer. The pizza was delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly and thorough in their service and cleanup tasks. The brewmaster was in for a while and we had a nice talk about Moonridge, his plans for their location in Altoona, education and kayaking. It was super. Definitely will keep Moonridge on our list to re-visit!

We go to Cornell to visist my mother in the nursing home almost every weekend. We usually bring lunch, but wanted to try something new. After digging my car out the snow for 2 hours, I wanted a drink. :) We stopped in here, and were greeted by the nicest young lady. The bloody mary was excellent! We stayed for lunch and were not disappointed. The pizzas were hand made and delicious! Takes a little longer since they are hand made but well worth it. The two employees we saw appeared to be teenagers, but I could be wrong. They were both so friendly and provided the best customer service. Excellent prices and just a really great atmosphere. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

The homemade pizza's are incredible! The owners are very welcoming and helpful, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. The beer flight was good but we weren't a big fan of the seltzer flight. Highly recommended!

The food is amazing. As a first time visitor the customer service left a lot to be desired. For new visitors here are some things to know. Upon entering you order the pizza separate from drinks, go to the left of the bar to the order window to order your pizza. They do not use a point of sale system, just hand notes. The Ruben and kahuna were both awesome. The 8” pizza is perfect for one person and (2) 8” pizzas were perfect to share between 2 people. My visit there was no one bussing tables and with several dirty tables I chose to sit at the bar. The customer service was civil but not always timely. After trying serval flights I recommend the cucumber jalapeño seltzer - Moon Juice.
Parking: Plenty of on street and off street parking. Side streets also provide on street parking. If you are hiking they have plenty of bike rack spaces as well.

Pizzas were fantastic and the Moon ridge beers on tap were awesome! I'm usually pretty picky (not a fan of IPAs) with microbrews but most of the beers here fit my palate!

My friend and I stopped at MoonRidge today after some outdoor adventuring; we have both been here before but its been a couple of years. We got there shortly after they opened so we were the first ones there and greeted promptly by the bartender. We ordered the Cuban pizza and a couple of beers and sat outside on the patio. The beer is fine, nothing outstanding. When our pizza was ready they brought it out to us. I know this isn’t a full-service restaurant but it would have been nice for someone to check on us or even ask us if we needed anything when delivering the pizza— we never got any napkins. I love the spent-grain pizza crust but this was probably the most underwhelming pizza I’ve had here. I felt like the toppings were a bit sparse and the pizza itself was barely warm. I’ve had the Reuben pizza here in the past and it had more toppings and was hot! I’ll probably visit MoonRidge again, but I’m hoping the quality isn’t going downhill— it’s a nice little stop when in the area.

My wife and I were up in Eau Claire for the weekend. Decided to go out of our way to check out this brewery. The beer is awesome (it’s just really good beer, nothing overly “creative” or “fancy”), and the Buffalo Bill pizza might have been one of the best pizza I’ve ever had.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Eau Claire who is up for a reasonable drive.

First time visiting. Bartender ignores you when you walk in so don't know if you should sit down. So we did sit no one waited on us. Went to the order window and they asked if we wanted plates (???) sat back down and had to go back up to get our ice water. Finally got the pizza and it could of been cooked longer, to much sauce that tasted like spaghetti sauce. Waited for someone to give a bill and box, had to go to the bartender who ignored us again. Also a side note the bartender was slow and couldn't pour a beer with out emptying it out five times and wasted so much. It was not busy at all. Won't be back
