I traveled up from Chippewa to visit today. It is a great place! Well, worth a trip from Eau Claire. The ambience is perfect for a northern brew pub! It was the most pleasant couple of hours I have enjoyed in several months.

We found their brews to be tasty and eclectic — Something to please everyone here.

The pizza is a real surprise! They use spent grain in their pizza crust, which makes them more substantial and crunchy. Also, they have many unusual flavors, which you will not get at a normal place. We had the Hot Chicken Alfredo, Big Kahuna (My favorite), and the Reuben. They were all great and I will get them again and try some others!

The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Generous samples.

One of the owners stopped by. The owners are veterans and also own Ombibulous in Eau Claire. The owners are veterans. They are personable and hard-working. I love supporting a local effort.

Definitely worth the trip. It was a great experience overall — including the beer and the pizzas.

My only suggestions:
- now that it is cold, get that fireplace going!
- get us some of those same pizza choices at Ombibulous.

Pizza top was great , crust made from beer waste was just that, waste, hard thin bad taste, soda was flat mentioned, he said machine wasn't working, ask why didn't you say when I ordered, still charged for soda. Would be great pizza if could get regular crust

Love this little brew pub. Good selection of beers to try. Specialty pizza is very good. They hand make pizza with spent grain from the brewery and a variety of sauces. Don't expect a traditional Italian pizza!

Camping at Brunet SP, so I stopped in to get something to eat and try the beer. I had the Weiss, and it was very good, and a calzone and it was also very good. I'll stop in again when I'm in the area!

Fantastic pizza - we had the Brewhouse Special, which has their spent-grain crust and Beer Sauce (a red pizza sauce). If you like Ambers, their Wayside American Amber is awesome! Friendly and helpful staff as well! Love the clean and rustic/industrial decor. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

It was fine, kind of dead. Beer was pretty good. If i was in the area, i would certainly stop again. They had the most comfortable bar chairs I have ever experienced.

Second time up here camping and due to the rain we decided to stop here. Walked in and stood there, not sure what to do. We asked the girl at the bar where we should sit and she said wherever but there's no waitress so you have to come back up to order. We picked a spot and checked the menu. There were 3 other parties in there at the time eating. There was no menu for the beer/ drinks. We chose two pizzas and went back to order. They were out of pulled pork & brisket so I had to quick choose something else. I inquired 'what about the beer?' (the pinnacle of the place one would think) and she pointed to the list on the wall and then said they were out of 3 of them. I asked if they did flights seeing as we were first-time customers and she said she only had 'one' left so only one of us could have it. Ooookkkkkk? We picked 4 of the available beers to that back to the table. I noticed none of the other customers had fights, so they *may* want to invest in more flight holders. Husband got the meat stacker which came after 20 mins. Figuring mine (farmyard)was right behind it, he waited to eat. Nope. A family that came in after us got 2 pizzas served. I went up to inquire about mine and she said specialty pizzas take longer. I said I understand that but hubby's was out, then the other table. She then said as if she was explaining to a child that both of the pizzas went in at the same time but specialty pizzas take longer. I said I understand but they should come out together. She looked at me blankly. There was a couple sitting at the bar now so I felt like a crab and just said, ok thanks I was just checking. I then asked for two knives and the girl said THEY DON'T HAVE KNIVES. At a restaurant. With food. No knives. She offered me a little pizza cutter to use, which I took and looked hilarious eating my pizza with my fork & pizza cutter. She did check and at my pizza should be right out as she heard the timer. Cool. As I went back to sit down a boy came out asking if I wanted the sauce in the pizza? I said yes? I had just asked for the coleslaw to be on the side, figuring I'd have leftovers and didn't want dripping coleslaw on it making it soggy. My pizza came out with coleslaw dressing drizzled on it and two portion control cups of dry coleslaw mix on top. To me, coleslaw is the final mixed product. But whatever. Thankfully the pizzas were excellent and with the two 14s, we had plenty of leftovers.
Oh the beer! It's horrible. Weak, no alcohol content, no taste, no nuance, nothing. The Moonlight was like Miller 64. Corners was also blah. Fishers was strong but not good, and Bees Knees was dark, strong but again lacking.
The atmosphere is cute, it's clean, but the kids running the place need to learn about about how to run a restaurant. Btw, this was a rainy Wednesday is Cornell. They were not busy.
Sad......

What a great place to visit. My favorite is the flavored seltzer, can't wait for it to be in cans. I know the new place will just as amazing as MoonRidge.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We noticed this great looking place on our way north to Ladysmith recently and were happy to stop in to check it out. We have some friends we like to try breweries, wineries, cideries, and pie places especially when there are games to play or it's cool to bring games in. We enjoyed every flavor of beverage we tried. My favorite was the Honey Lavender Lemonade Seltzer. The pizza was delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly and thorough in their service and cleanup tasks. The brewmaster was in for a while and we had a nice talk about Moonridge, his plans for their location in Altoona, education and kayaking. It was super. Definitely will keep Moonridge on our list to re-visit!
