Manger Christina went above and beyond to give excellent service
Love this place! The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and the food is delectable. One of my favorites is the steak quesadilla on the Tuesday special menu. Try this place out, you won’t be disappointed!
I am always cautious when I go to any restaurant due to my allergy concerns from cross contamination. We were pleasantly surprised when our server Tory gave us a very comprehensive explanation regarding our menu choices.
Christina the General Manager also has a clear understanding of allergy concerns and is able to relay to that to the kitchen staff.
The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere is very comfortable.
Overall a very satisfying experience and would highly recommend especially if you have any allergy concerns.
So delicious. There are so many good things to say about this place. The food was AMAZING. Furthermore, the service was top tier. Christina and Tory were knowledgeable and very welcoming. We will be going again!
It was so delicious! The service was amazing, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Will definitely be back again!
Waited 5 minutes at the host stand before anyone acknowledged my party, service was good but the food was very underwhelming. Ordered a $52 steak that came out overdone with an underdone baked potato and overall the food was not fitting of the prices and the wait, quite mediocre compared to the ambiance and pricing.
Have done a lot of dining around Madison and have never been as satisfied as I was with this place. I was super happy to go a little further east and find a restaurant that has a friendly face as soon as you walk in the door and great food! The name makes it sound like your average restaurant/bar, but it really doesn’t do this place justice. They serve a wide variety of food ranging from something a little more casual and approachable, along with higher end locally sourced dishes. We enjoyed the beef stroganoff special, beet salad, and prime rib sandwich, then finished off with a Brandy Alexander. Our server Ella was fantastic and never missed a beat. She was so attentive, accommodated changes, and gave great recommendations. Will be coming here again for sure!

Love the atmosphere! The Wait Staff is Top Notch! We have a couple meetings a year there and we couldn't be happier with the food, service, pricing, and accommodations!

Food was good and service in general was good until the bill came. We asked to provide 3 credit cards split 1/3 each and the waiter made some sort of mistake and charged one card 1/3 and another card 2/3 and the other 0. Then he came to us to solve the problem. He should have asked for help from manager or crediting that transaction and started over but just put us on the spot to solve it. Frankly I think that was just plain lazy.

Super disappointed- we used to love it here
6:00 Saturday night and they are out of prime rib???? We find out after we order... the guy in front who was seating people was rude and we almost left and kid of wish we would've!
Brussels appy and chocolate cake we phenomenal!
Bourbon maple chicken was like oil soaked pecan chicken - we've had in the past and was great, barely edible tonight.
Jumbo Shrimp soaked in oil
Medium ordered filet- over cooked and was it really a filet?
The server was so nice and great... thanks Kinsey.
I think we won't be returning

Overall a good place to eat with a group. They even gave the birthday boy free ice-cream! The Saturday special prime rib was great!

I had the Chicken Parmesan and Caesar salad. It was very good. My wife had a 12oz prime rib. It was very fatty and chewy. She shared her disappointment with our waitress and also with a man, presumably a manager. Neither seemed overly concerned about an unhappy customer. I would not recommend this restaurant for a prime rib dinner.

Atmosphere, service and the soup were good. The Saturday prime rib special was horrible. I ordered a rare prime rib dinner. 20 minutes later when the dinner was delivered the meat was brown indicating to me that it was not rare as I ordered. The server took it back to the kitchen. About 5 minutes later she returned with the manager who set my plate down and told me that they do not do rare prime rib. The best they could offer was medium rare. I said that I wish I had been told that when I ordered because I would have order something different. He offered to allow me to change my order, but everyone else was eating their dinners and I did not want to wait another 20 minutes for my food so I accepted the dinner. When I cut into the meat it was obvious that it was not medium rare but a least medium well. It cut hard and each bite was chewy. It was also cold since it had been carted back and forth from the kitchen. I ate about 1/3 of the meat and took the rest home for the dog. It’s was a $30 mistake.
