First time there. My wife order the fried cod and I ordered a 8oz sirloin, medium. My salad was all stalks n bland. Steak was over cooked as were my tiger shrimp. No cocktail sauce was provided. I also ordered mushrooms. I maybe got six mushy ones. 39 for the Steak 10 for three shrimp and 4 or 5 for mushrooms. My soda came without much ice and warm in 10 minutes. We drove 45 minutes and left unimpressed with the food and prices. My granddaughters cheeseburger was like a hockey puck! My wife said the fish had very little taste and was greasy. My daughter n son-in-law said same. But, nice building. And the server was very nice.

Hate to write a negative but this one is necessary. Our female server last night, Friday the 24th (we didn't get her name) was extremely passive aggressive with us the entire experience. Dark hair and arm tattoos if that is helpful. She literally snatched a wine glass right out of my hand and as she brought the 2nd one. She seemed annoyed that we were ordering a drink and talking and not ordering our dinner immediately. We talked about ordering a bottle of wine and she walked away. She clearly wanted to be done for the evening and made that very clear. We were out for a relaxing evening with friends and we enjoy your restaurant and have never encountered this service before. She was down right rude. It was time to clear our plates and she did that very aggressively too. We definitely didn't deserve that behavior bad night or not. We did tip her as that is not the kind of people we are but I sure hope this is discussed with her. Food was amazing!

My wife and I have wanted to try it for awhile. We went there with our daughter and Mom last Friday. The place was bigger and better than we thought. The atmosphere was great. You could go there for a quiet intimate dinner to a family affair. The food was great with a wide variety. We each ordered something different and loved our dishes. My 17 year old daughter is picky and she loved it. We recommend the Chicken Parmesan and the pizzas.

We frequently dine @1855. Always great food!!! The restaurant is beautiful and always tastefully decorate for the season. They emailed the Valentines specials to us and we made a date! Please email me at least once a month. The food was amazing, service was great. The server- Polite and caring young lady, well spoken and knowledgeable about the food. It truly was a delightful evening. My date had the prime rib and I had the chateaubriand- to die for! Done perfectly - wish I took pictures for you all to see.

We had a great time trying out the three different dips and chips, they were absolutely delicious! The drinks were pretty good too. Now, let's talk about the burgers - they were good, maybe even a bit too flavorful! And don't even get me started on the chocolate cake, it was incredibly decadent and absolutely delicious. But you know what the highlight was? Those crispy and wonderfully tasty chips that came with the burgers. They were so good that we even enjoyed them as leftovers! Overall, we're really glad we decided to come here, it was a fantastic experience.

I really enjoyed 1855. I had the mediterranean salad with chicken and it was so tasty! Fresh and the dressing was very flavorful. I ordered a cab from France...I really enjoyed it. The staff was attentive , friendly and 3 or 4 staff said goodbye when we left. Well done!
I've been here many times. The last couple of times I've noticed that live music isn't happening on popular nights. The place isn't busy anymore and things that used to be included now cost money. Something changed and it isn't good. Look back at pre COVID and figure out what you used to be.

I'm not sure why they received mediocre reviews because the food, service, take out, Mother's Day brunch, New Year's Eve menu have all been outstanding! Definitely one of our favorite places to go for lunch, dinner and special occasions!

Our company reserved a table 3 days before the date, for 24 people in December for our after-board meeting outing. They were so accommodating and responded very quickly, and the team there was so sweet and professional! They even showed us their large party reduced-sized menu, that could be customized (swapped out with other menu items). Our team had such a great time, the server was kind and could dish up the banter our team gave her, amazing! I plan on coming back personally! Great service, food, and atmosphere!!
